Hi friends. What are your Valentine's Day plans?
Ron got me tulips. Tomorrow's he's making a fancy main dish tart, a strawberry citrus salad, Reisling and blue cheese, and homemade banana bread (from home-grown bananas) for dessert. We'll exchange gifts. On Saturday we'll go out for either lunch or dinner.

My folks are visiting and we are making stuffed peppers and their tradition of banana splits as this is the anniversary of their engagement
They offered to mind frank and let us go out but I’m not very mobile at this stage and still suffering with hyperemesis so it doesn’t make sense to spend time and money on a meal that I’ll just throw up anyways
Frank is everyone’s valentines this year
I ordered a gift for hubby but I don’t think it will make it so I’ll get chocolates as back up

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Nothing like a "MOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!" yell at 10:00 last night to remind you about Valentine's Day. Ethan had forgotten about their party today and was like "Can you run down to DG (Dollar General) and pick some stuff up? I have this many people, yada, yada, yada." I told him DG was closed he said "Ok, well, we are going to bed, so you can run to Walmart real quick and pick some stuff up." I told him Walmart would be an in the morning run. We decided on cupcakes for the teachers, office ladies, cafeteria ladies, and janitors. He thought 12 would cover the cafeteria ladies and janitors, but realized this morning it wouldn't. I told him that we would make it up to the janitors later. I picked up a couple cupcakes for the boys for the house and a couple of cards and that is about the extent of it. We may go out to eat tonight since they will be gone this weekend.

Flowers for me and me and my husband exchanged cards and chocolates. Valentines and Halloween are my favorite holidays.

soaps4ever they are saying my due date is the 30th of May However I happen to know for a fact that I’m due a month earlier I’m also being told to expect another premature baby as what happened to me with frank tends to repeat again in other pregnancies I’m going to talk to my gp this Monday and see if she will say something about the dates I’m measuring a month ahead and the math is ahead too They never listen to the patient they think we are ignorant to our own bodies It’s frustrating

It is a stupid Hallmark holiday that only once a year you show your love?? I feel the same way about this as well as Mother's and Father's "days." I make sure my peeps know how much I love them EVERY day, not just a couple of times each year.
But hubby insisted on taking me out to dinner (okay, only because it's half-price margarita Thursdays at my favorite local place) but I was all kinds of oh yeah let's go!  |
