There's speculation that it may have been Jordan who really killed those people and not Ben.

Ciara kidnapped again...tied up in the cabin again...yawn.
I have this sinking feeling that they’re going to bring Jordan back to somehow be at fault for Ben’s past sins, thereby exonerating him and making it “okay” for him and Ciara to become a couple to root for.

Yet it won't work because I never wanted Ben redeemed in the first place and preferred him as a psycho. Figures they would take away the most interesting thing about him if this comes to pass. I just don't care for them as a couple I think the actors have chemistry but rewriting history isn't going to make me like them because of it. |

I understood that Jordan returns to help her brother not to spiral out of control because she knows what he’s capable of when he does
We all watched Ben light a match and set fire to chad and Abby’s bed so there’s really no way to spin this that someone else did it
Bens character was always written as a controlling kind of guy that showed signs of an abuser, even before they made him a serial killer

I think the general consensus is that it's Jordan. But the Kristen return makes it feel like it might be her as the mastermind.
