I have my issues with the show but I'm glad Days is on for another year at least.

Very happy to hear this! I know "soaps" aren't anywhere near as popular as they once were. I'm glad that the one show I've been watching my whole life long is still valued! Thanks for posting ProudTVJunkie. |

Thank you for letting us know this ProudTVJunkie. When I started back watching Days a couple of years ago it was on the cusp of being cancelled then and I even signed petitions to keep it on the air. Probably the petitions didn't do anything but at least it showed people were interested. Ultimately it was the network's decision and I am glad they continue to keep it. I will probably watch it till the end, because I feel lucky Days is still on, flawed as it sometimes is.

I'm happy about this... I find that the story lines/writing is actually very interesting now, and I hope the quality continues.
Even if I don't agree with some of the story lines, I find that I'm still invested and am enjoying the show.

I cannot even imagine not ever watching Days anymore. It has been a part of my life since I was just a little girl, watching it with my mom.

I cannot even imagine not ever watching Days anymore. It has been a part of my life since I was just a little girl, watching it with my mom. That is sweet. I have memories like that too of soaps. Me and my mom would sometimes watch Days together, back in the eighties. But her main ones were the CBS soaps, which I watched regularly later. I also watched AMC regularly too. When GL and ATWT went off the air it was like a little bit of my heart was ripped out-it had become part of my life. Now that I am back watching Days I have the same emotional attachment. Soaps are not just soaps, they are a form of entertainment that people form a bond with. Not like a lot of trendy shows of today. |

Started watching DAYS as a 12 year old boy and it has been a part of my life ever since even now into manhood
