As far as storyline ideas to really make DAYS exciting again:


- Lucas and Sami's daughter Allie Horton returns to Salem as a troubled, out of control teen and she moves in with her older brother Will. They have a similar relationship to Mike and Jennifer. Of course Allie is troubled but that goes without saying. Allie ends up drinking and she drives drunk. She of course gets into a hit and run accident by hitting someone with her car. Who does she hit? She hits her own cousin Claire with her car. Claire of course is in the hospital fighting for her life and of course this brings Shawn-Douglas and Belle her parents back to town. Of course, the Salem PD is on the case as far as Claire's hit and run. Allie being such a wreck flees the scene not even realizing that she hit Claire with her car drives off because she thinks she hit a deer. Tripp of course wants to know who hit Claire with the car so of course Tripp is working with the cops to try to figure it out. Allie of course being drunk doesn't even remember the hit and run accident until she does remember. Allie of course wants to come forward but she knows that if she does she will go to prison so she keeps quiet. Claire of course goes into a coma and they don't know if she will survive. Tripp of course is by her bedside around the clock and so are Shawn, Belle and even Ciara. Eventually the cops end up finding out the make and model of the car but also they find out that the person driving the car that night was none other than Allie, Lucas and Sami's daughter. This puts everyone on opposite sides. Belle because Claire is her daughter but Allie is her niece and Shawn is related to Allie too because she is his cousin. Marlena is obviously torn because both Claire and Allie are her granddaughters but also Allie being a Brady and a Horton this puts the Bradys and Hortons on opposite sides. Allie ends up being arrested for what she did to Claire but the miracle happens. Claire wakes up from her coma after being hit by that car as a last minute miracle. However, this brings Allie's parents Lucas and Sami back to town to deal with their daughter.
