Sorry to see one of my all-time favorite characters leave again. I hope he'll be back one day, and I hope Kayla doesn't fade into the woodwork.

I have to say, I love Stephen Nichols, but I'm really disappointed in him for not taking the deal, whatever it was. Sure it's a job like any other, but he's not 30 anymore. He's 67 and he needs to be realistic about his career and his place on the show. If my company offered me a take it or leave it deal, I'd take it. I need the money. Of course it's his prerogative to stay or leave and if he wasn't happy, then fine, go. I don't think he needs to make himself out to be the victim. He's been well compensated throughout his career.

He was willing to take a 30 percent pay cut to stay on the show and they still let him go. Big mistake on the network's part if you ask me.
