GH has been pretty good lately but I'm ready for this stupid Balkan storyline to be over. Something about that guy that makes me irritated. LOL. He is irritating but I've liked the story for the most part. I nearly fell out of my chair when Spinelli named him the "Bald Bloviator". I kept backing up the DVR to make sure I heard that right. I did the same when Tracy told Luke she found him by following the smell of mendacity. Gotta love writers who actually own a thesaurus! I love Spinelli's nicknames and thought the one he gave Theo was the best one yet - clearly Spinelli found him irritating as well.

Other soaps, none. I did watch Y&R in the 90s and I did watch Passions for the first few years, but unfortunately stopped watching before Eric Martsolf took over as Ethan. If I had known about him back then, I would have stuck it out with Passions. Hubba hubba! Primetime: Dexter (love the books and adore Michael C. Hall!), Desperate Housewives, Castle (Nathan Fillion...yum!), Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, Law and Order:UK on BBCAmerica. Stocking up on The Tudors via BBCAmerica on my DVR but have yet to watch a single one. I want to catch up on so many shows by Netflix, but I never get around to it. Other than that, just reruns of Scrubs (the only show my hubby cares to watch) and The Daily Show.

I watch Iron Chef America, Chopped, and Next Food Network Star/Next Iron Chef, too--Sunday's about the only day I really have to watch, and these are all on Sunday evening.
If I were younger, I'd ask Jon Stewart to adopt me. TOO funny! I don't catch him much lately, but enjoy when I do!

Well, pallison...maybe you, me, and DancingDays (who we're pretty sure is either the same person as me or a long lost twin) could all adopt each other!

Three more little tidbits... First, HBO just started an encore presentation of Season Three of True Blood for anyone who is interested but missed it.
Second, last night, I watched the pilot episode for "The Borgias" on Showtime. It was very good. The show is about the real life family that inspired Mario Puzo to write the "Godfather".
Third, I'm very excited about "Game of Thrones" series that will start this month on HBO ... it looks awesome!

How did I miss this thread.? ;D Daytime soaps? Only Days. My mom watched all the CBS saops back in the day, so during the summers I would watch Guilding Light and Secret Storm(my favorite) and ATWT. Even watched Y&R in the beginning, but stopped when I became a teen. Started watching Days because a co-worker watched and I shared my lunch hour with her. I was addicted in a snap thanks to Sami and the teens (Belle, Shawn, Philip <3, Chloe and Mimi and the gang). As for other shows, Enjoyed House until he and Cuddy started dating. Loved, loved, loved 24. Big Jack fan. I was a rabid Lost follower too. Besides Days, it is the only show I ever. joined a forum to discuss. Now I only really watch CSI Miami (secretly in love with Horatio...have a thing for redheads ) and Criminal Minds; I love Spencer Reed. Great character, great actor. My secret obsession (besides Days) is reality TV. Love to watch people, real people doing most anything. Survivor is my favorite,, the one I watch live. Putting people in the worst of situations is interesting insight into the human condition. Watch Hells Kitchen, American Idol and So You Think You can Dance. And if I have time Cake Boss. Thank good ness for the DVR...

I am so mad. Hubby and I missed the season finale of Californication and we would have to pay to upgrade our Showtime to get it on demand to watch it because the town we live in doesn't offer on demand with our cable provider.
