Just wondering what or I suppose I should say who would make fantastic couples? I keep wondering when they are ever going tp give JJ, Gabi, Claire, Tripp, and Stephan their own John/Marlena love story. Or at least one that gets close. Everything they have given these characters in the past year as been worthless. Wheres the fire and fighting of the old days?

Everything they have given these characters in the past year as been worthless. Wheres the fire and fighting of the old days? Sadly, I think the days of the epic romances of the 80's are long gone. It's hard to root for couples nowadays since many of them don't last long. I suspect that the writers think that younger generations don't have the attention span and interest in romances that take months to get to a first kiss. I don't know if that's true but they should consider that several generations watch soaps. |

Some of the couples that Days has decided we should be rooting for are not necessarily the ones I care for.
