I thought that since there are several authors, screenwriters, etc here on MH, it would be helpful if there was a thread where we can share resources with one another. MUSICbooksoapwriter81 , you were asking about music for videos. This is the site I used. All the music on this site is free to use as long as you credit the author in your video. incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/music.htmlGRAPHIC DESIGN/PHOTOS
(Thank you Kpatch for this suggestion) Canva - www.canva.com - great resource for designing book covers, business cards and other items you may need. I have also designed some of the images for my website using Canva Pixlr - www.pixlr.com/editor - free photo editor that allows you to resize and distort images, edit backgrounds, etc. Pizap - www.pizap.com - Make collages of photos and add text (e.g. how I do my fanfiction previews) Pixabay.com - Site offering FREE photos for commercial use -- and no attribution required! I got my cover photo for Reinventing Hannah off this site as well as some photos that will be featured on my website once it goes live in a few weeks. If anyone else has resources to share, please do

Thanks for starting this, heroicmuse. Here is a link to the site I used to create my website: www.wix.comThere are many packages available, but the most basic one is free. It's easy to use, and you don't have to know anything about HTML to be able to create a site with it.

One more I forgot. I use Trello www.trello.com to help me with planning and outlining. It's basically a high tech version of the old scene cards technique -- you can make lists with different cards, add photos, and add labels and checklists, even due dates. I created a board on it for my novel and made cards for each character. I also make cards for each scene after I write it and label it with which subplot(s) it belongs to. That way I can see my whole story at a glance and when I'm done with the draft I can see if there are any missing beats I need to add in the next draft.
