Stacy Haiduk Joins Days of Our Lives in Eileen Davidson's Old Role(s)MIKE JUBINVILLEEileen Davidson fans have been tweeting their hopes of the popular actress returning to Days of Our Lives, now that she's quit The Young and the Restless. The problem is, Davidson's former role(s) have already been filled! Multiple sources have confirmed former The Young and the Restless and All My Children star Stacy Haiduk is already taping as at least one of Davidson's former Days of Our Lives characters. Davidson played schemer Kristen Blake DiMera and her lookalikes Susan, Mary Moira, Thomas and Penelope Banks on and off from 1993 until 2017. "Stacy is killing it on DAYS," says one mole. "Maybe they can create a new role for Eileen?"

Back in the day I used to watch Y&R and Stacy Haiduk was one of my favorites. I think she is an excellent actress. She played dual roles -- a psychiatrist and a woman with mental issues (if I remember correctly). I feel bad that Days fans probably won't give her a chance and roast her on social media.

I heard too that Eileen might come back. Although Stacy is a great actress-on Y&R-she played twins if I remember correctly. I wouldn't mind her in the role for however long she plays it.

True and I know for a fact Ill be one of them. Some rolls can never be recast. ED's Kristen is one of those. She has owned that roll from the moment she walked into it. Its kind of like trying to imagine anyone else aside from Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump. No matter how good they are they will never be the original. Ive been feeling the same way about Marci Millers Abigail from the start. Shes good but she isn't THE Abby. |

For me I think it may depend on whether it's a long term return. I'm open to a recast for a short term return to kickstart story.

I read somewhere that there was a scheduling conflict with Stacy and they have scrapped her scenes, don't know if this is true or not.
