This seems weird since he's on recurring status not under a contract. Is it possible that Lumi will reunite when Sami returns to Salem?

Wow, lots of people going, and lots of people coming as well. I'm not really sad he's leaving. The show is on the verge of ruining two of my favorite characters (Lucas and Chloe) by pairing them romantically. I just hope Chloe's not next in line to leave and that they're not leaving together. I read this last night and I was sad. But, he has been gone in the past and returned. Let's hope for that!

Yes I'm very worried about Chloe. How will she go on without the love of her life?  I really hope she doesn't leave with him. Seriously though, it's sad to see him go, although I don't know how soon it will be. His tweet seems a little bit like he did it right when he found out so he might be on for a while longer and as someone else has said, he's left many times and come back. |

I'm guessing Lucas will be on the rest of the year or close to it.
I don't see Chloe leaving with him. It makes more sense to me that he would move near Sami to be with his daughter.

It's a shame that Lucas isn't used more on the show. Bryan is a very talented actor when he has storylines that let him shine. Unfortunately, he's placed on the back burner most of the time now. Either that, or he's involved in storylines that no one cares about. His last really good one was Lucas falling off the wagon and working his way back to being sober. They could be doing a lot more with him and Will,but we hardly ever see them together. I think that would be more worthwhile than showing him with Chloe all of the time.

It's true that his storylines weren't always good but I think he's a good actor and I think the writers could have done better.
