I'm glad Aiden's doppelganger research paid off. Hope needs to go along with if she doesn't want to spend the rest of her life in prison.

Chapter 26a
“But … but I can’t allow an innocent woman to be charged with a crime I committed,” Hope protested.
“Gina’s in Saudi Arabia now, far far away from Illinois jurisdiction,” Aiden reasoned. “She gets to live her life where she is, and you get to live yours. Look.” He rested his hands on her shoulders. “You can be ethical and right-minded and principled behind bars. Or you can walk out that front door a free woman, Hope. For the first time in a year, you’re free—unless you really want to go back to prison.”
Hope looked toward the front door. “Free? Really? I … I can’t even imagine—. What about the incident on the bus?”
“I did some research and found a sworn affadavit from the officer who was injured. He gave a statement saying it was Sheila who assaulted him. Even though he was in and out of consciousness, he remembers you pulling him to safety.”
“Aiden, I can’t believe you did all this.”
“I have connections through Legal Zoom and I was able to lay a lot of groundwork before even meeting with the judge.”
“Don’t downplay how hard you worked on my behalf. This is incredible.”
“Now.” He took a deep breath. “It’s your choice, sweetheart. Spend your life in prison or spend your life being free, being productive, being a detective again. You can do good works for society, do things you love to do, like being a mother to Ciara and Shawn and a grandmother to Claire, and … and a …”
She looked back at Aiden and gazed at him intently. “And a what?”
“And a … and a wife to me. Hope, I love you. I never stopped.” He briefly glanced toward the door. “Clearly, you can leave right now and never look back. I’m well aware that buying you your freedom wasn’t in my best interest. It means you’re free to leave. You’re no longer dependent on me and you can forget me and everything that happened here this week. But I’ll never forget it Hope, never. I still want to spend my life with you.”

If I am ever arrested (not that I’m planning to be), I want to hire Aiden as my lawyer.
Hope needs to hand that letter she’s written to Aiden so Rafe gets it ASAP!

Hopefully Hope thanks him, will always be grateful. but she needs to go home a single woman and give herself time to be a single, strong woman and in time maybe later meet up again with Aiden. (obviously not an Aiden fan, here)

I'm glad that Hope is free from all of the charges. She's been through so much since Bo's death and shooting Stefano and going to prison. She needs to take some time before making any life changing decisions like marriage.

Chapter 26b
“It means you’re free to leave,” Aiden explained. “You’re no longer dependent on me and you can forget me and everything that happened here this week. But I’ll never forget it Hope, never. I still want to spend my life with you and I want you to know I would never hurt you. Never! I’ll do whatever it takes to prove it to you, to prove how much I love you and that I’d do anything for you.” He kissed her hard.
“You can’t.” Gently pushing him away, she put her fingers on his lips. “You can’t possibly prove it to me any more than you already have. Aiden, you saved me from dying out there in the brush. You brought me to your home. You kept me from the risk of falling into a coma and you nursed me back to health. You protected me from being found by law enforcement. You kept me from losing my mind. And now, you just put your career on the line and lied to get me exonerated. A man doesn’t do all that for someone unless he’s deeply in love. … Or being paid really well,” she joked.
“No one is paying me, not this time. I did it pro bono,” he quipped. “So, do I have a chance with you, Hope?” Brushing a hair away from her eyes, he whispered, “Dare I hope for a second chance with Hope?”
She raised her brow and smiled seductively at him. She turned and picked up the deck of cards on the table. “You might get a second chance.” She held out the deck.
He looked at it quizzically. “Um. I wasn’t talking about a card game. I was talking about us.”
“So was I,” she said with a wink. Holding out the cards, she urged Aiden to take them. “Now, shut up and deal.”
He smiled broadly, took the cards from Hope and tossed them into the air. As the cards rained down on them, he pulled her into his arms. She ran her fingers over the back of his neck as he kissed her.
