I hope I put this in the right forum. This is a bit of a character analysis for Justin and Adrienne both as a couple and as parents to Sonny. I've been thinking about these two and what they've been through the last three years, asking myself questions about why Justin and/or Adrienne didn't do certain things (more on that in a minute), and came up with theories/speculation.
So, let's review, shall we? In 2015, Sonny is almost stabbed to death and his second club goes right down the toilet. Rather than helping Sonny recover, Justin is too focused on Elsa and Adrienne's infedelity. Then, later that year, Chad is accused of being the Necktie Killer, and Justin railroads him to next Wednesday. I wonder if Justin found out that Chad sabotaged Sonny's clubs which caused a strain on his marriage, and railroading Chad was his payback.
Fast-forward to a year later, Sonny has a bodyguard during the Siege of Salem, so why didn't he have a bodyguard during the Three Families War over the Orwell? Chad and Gabi had been kidnapped. Justin (and Victor) had to have known Andre would take some sort of action against the Kiriakises! I mean, sure, he was hoping that Sonny would stay in Europe until it blew over, but, that's really it. Now, about Adrienne...I'm wondering if after talking to Deimos didn't work, in order to get Sonny back, she went back to her hotel room where Jennifer and Drew were and told Jennifer what happened in hopes that Drew would turn himself in. Justin on the other hand, just yelled at Deimos to "Fix this", then left the room and wandered around HTS. Remember back in 2009 when Ciara was kidnapped? He knew Ciara for...what- five minutes? And he went above and beyond to help Bo and Hope find her (I know- Ciara is Justin's cousin). Then he put his own life at risk to save Hope and Ciara from Ciara's kidnapper. So, why did he go to such lengths for a kid he barely knew than his own kid?
Speaking of Sonny’s kidnapping, if it was Adrienne who was kidnapped (and used against Sonny and/or Justin in order to get Chad and Gabi back), would he have gone to as much lengths as he did when Ciara was kidnapped, or would he do the same thing he did when Sonny was kidnapped?
Then, six months later, Anjelica sabotaged the Spectator and forced Adrienne and Jennifer to pay her or fork it over. Justin secretly got a banker to loan out the Spectator, and the Spectator was saved! He didn't tell Adrienne, because he knew she'd refuse his help. Well, Sonny refused his and Adrienne's financial help with the second club. Why didn't Justin do the exact same thing for Sonny? I'm wondering if Justin knew what happened to Sonny, and that's why he secretly helped Adrienne, so she won't go through the same thing Sonny did, and to kind of make up for it.
After all that trauma and drama, hopefully Justin resolved to be a better father and husband.
With that in mind, I wonder if Justin made damn sure Victor never puts a hit on anyone ever again. Victor puts a hit out on Clyde: Sonny is stabbed. Victor puts a hit out on Deimos: Sonny is accused of Deimos' murder.
Too long, didn't read, I know. But, what do you guys think?

Great assessment. LOL at Victor's hits backfiring on Sonny.

Wow! There was so much you'd listed that I'd forgotten about!
Justin's personality seems to change depending upon which writing team is in charge.
Speaking of which, where the heck are Justin and Adrienne? Have we seen them since Memphis?
