Soap Opera NewsHoly Cow! This is something no one saw coming - John Black (Drake Hogestyn) poisoning Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) on 'Days of Our Lives'. It beats us as to why John would be doing this to his good friend and the only thing we can come up with is that it's possible John is being controlled as he were in former times by Stefano DiMera. In story, John struggles to tell Marlena (Deidre Hall) the truth but can't in order to protect her. This, however, is good story and viewers are encouraged to tune in to 'Days' weekdays on NBC to see how the story unfolds.

I'm going to be so disappointed if John is out to hurt Steve... grr
Hopefully, he's trying to miraculously restore his vision in the other eye without Steve knowing? Yes, I know that's unlikely, but if Marlena can be possessed and they can have dead figures come back as angels, and then alive again, surely Steve can grow miraculous vision (so that Stephen Nichols doesn't always have to wear a patch).

I’ll be really annoyed if this was a someone brainwashing him to do it as it’s been done over and again
Also hoping that it’s not a John doppelgänger or even a patch doppelgänger that John found out
This is a twist having it be John poisoning him I just really hope they have a creative idea as to why
