It's 2018 in Salem.
If you had total control, how would you direct the stories and lives in Salem?

Love this question UhSir! I want JJ and Lani to break up. They are as bad a mismatch as Hope and Rafe. I'd like to see him back with Gabi because she is passionate and the actress who plays her does a great job. I want Ciara either gone or to grow a heart. I don't find brats or people who are constantly throwing a pity party entertaining. It's why I hated Sami. I'd like Paul to find someone worthy of him. I want Jay Johnson to return as Philip and reunite with Chloe (goes without saying, I think). I'd like Eric to realize he has feelings for Jennifer, far and above what he ever felt for Nicole. Jennifer deserves it. I'd like Chad backburnered. Tired of him. I want Theresa to return and get Brady to shape up. I'll post more when I think of them, because I just know there are more!

I want Hope & Rafe and JJ & Lani to break up for good.
I'm tired of corporate stories. Either show people going to an office or quit the corporate nonsense.

Sick of yet another unknown child as in Stefan. It would be nice to get some new blood with real character and personality.

I'm tired of corporate stories. Either show people going to an office or quit the corporate nonsense. Came here to post the same thing. I am beyond sick of the business shenanigans. They all come off as if they were written by 12-year-olds. Are there any positions at any of these companies besides CEO? How are the stockholders okay with the constant, frantic turnover at the top? It's ridiculous. Plus they talk in such generic terms. Everything is "the deal" or "the merger." It not only feels cartoonish, but it's impossible to invest because we have no real understanding of why anyone cares so much about being CEO or what they even do as CEO.

There should be characters who do other jobs at these companies or quit revolving storylines around the companies. Why do the Dimera and Kiriakis families both have to be fighting for control of the family businesses at the same time?

I agree mikey. There should be characters who do other jobs at these companies or quit revolving storylines around the companies. Why do the Dimera and Kiriakis families both have to be fighting for control of the family businesses at the same time? And it's nonstop. These companies are almost never stable. It's just this revolving door of unqualified people clamoring to be CEO of these invisible companies who don't actually seem to do any work. You're right that the fact that it's both families at once makes it even worse.

Mr. Shin should tell the DiMeras that he's taking over as CEO. He might actually do some work.
