Found this little tidbit about Stefan:

Tyler Christopher's mysterious character, Stefan, is none other than Stefan O. DiMera, the son of Stefano DiMera, as reported by Soap Opera Digest.

On September 29, it was reported that Tyler Christopher had joined "Days of our Lives" in a secret role as "Stefan." Soaps.com previously reported on the rumor early September that he was headed to the show, along with some speculation on who Tyler Christopher might play on Days of our Lives. EW has confirmed the casting news. The actor, who has since confirmed and played Nikolas Cassadine on "General Hospital," began taping last week and will begin airing at the end of 2017 on December 29. Tyler Christopher won a Daytime Emmy in 2016 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama for his role on "GH."
