I love that Sami gets rewarded so quickly (as DD observed). Seriously? LMAO
Actually, it'd have been fun to see some actual struggles and prejudice that working moms face all the time. Less pay, missed opportunities from bosses who don't want to deal with a 'mother', and the pressure to "do it all" while feeling guilty b/c you're not at home raising your kids.

Austin and Carrie try to heal the wound in their relationship by having a romantic evening. It starts dimly but ends with him lighting her lamp. Their closeness is short lived. She gets more info on John and keeps it to herself before running off to chase a lead. This causes more problems for the couple. These are compounded by the fact that she keeps using Rafe as her confidant and source on the case. Austin warns Sami that her husband is getting close to her sister and doing something that verges on the illegal. She admits to him that she thinks John could be guilty and then asks him to move in while Carrie is out of the country. Rafe gets fired for helping Carrie, blames Austin and punches him out. Sami has to stop them from fighting, but then makes cracks about Rafe being unemployed. Making things worse, Austin loses his hotel room so he has nowhere else to go. Marlena crashes Casa DiMera to accuse Stefano of being behind John’s arrest. He insists he has nothing to do with it. John gets wind of this and bickers with his wife. Abe and Lexi show up. John thanks them for siding with him, even if it isn’t politically wise. After he receives another threat, he goes on TV to defend himself. Roman later shows up to tell them Rafe is off the case and they won’t be getting any more information. John and Marlena are so distraught that they do the rumpy pumpy to cheer themselves up. Bo and Hope discover the letter that Alice was writing to Maggie when she died. They show it to the redhead, who gasps to discover that her eggs had been stolen and used to produce a child. They begin digging for information on the clinic that harvested her eggs, but it turns out that it never technically existed. Victor hears about all of this and starts making mysterious calls. Meanwhile, Maggie and the cops badger Alice’s lawyer until she drops the name of the dubious clinic. Jenn admits to Jack and Daniel that she loves them both. The doctor can see that’s tearing her apart and offers to step aside. She doesn’t like that idea so he suggests that she just date both of them to see what happens. Jenn agrees, but insists that she won’t sleep with either of them until she’s decided who she wants to be with. Abby learns of this arrangement and fumes, unable to understand why her mom is giving Jack another chance to hurt her. Jenn goes out with him anyway and he takes her to the hospital to decorate cookies for children. After finding Mel and Chad in an awkward position, Abby vents to them about her dad some more. They encourage her to forgive him. Chad is soon distracted by gay bashing on his website. Sonny discovers that there could be something even more sinister going on as well. And, after watching how Sami can balance her work and home life, Madison is so impressed she sets her up on an account in direct competition with Kate. Soapoperafan.com |

1) this whole Sami/Austin stuff is driving me nuts-o already.
2) Marlena and John - Same old same old
3) So this is how Maggie had a kid and didn't even know. How Daniel turns out to be her son. Her eggs were stolen. Still not sure how I feel about this..It needs to be done right.
4) Jack just needs to drop off the face of the earth. God he annoys the he-two hockey sticks right outta me. Ugh.
5) Abigail finds Chad and Mel in an awkward position? Hmm...this is getting me thinking more and more they are going to do an Abigail/Chad/Melanie triangle. I think that Abigail and Chad would be endgame though.
5) Enough with the gay bashing and move on. Is T still around?
6) I love that Sami is in the workforce. I also love that she is going to be going direct against Kate. I like them together. Kate brings out the real Sami.
