I thought there was a Halloween thread around here but I can't locate it.
Anyway, what are you or your kids dressing as this year?
How many pieces of candy do you usually plan to hand out? What kind of candy? What's on sale or something you personally like (for leftovers!)?

Monica is dressing as Wednesday Addams.
Sami has dressed up in several different costumes at a variety of Halloween events the last two weeks. She has been a witch, Batman, and a creepy bear.
We aren't home on Halloween to pass out candy.
We are going trick or treating with friends in their neighborhood. Not sure how long they will want to trick or treat in the cold.

We usually get no one but I have snack size Milky Ways in the freezer just in case.

We haven't had anyone come by for a few years. But we have a bag of snack size KitKats just in case.

Not doing anything except watch the World Series! Over the years we have had less & less kids at the door, so I decided to just pass.

I'm not sure what we are doing. We may end up hitting a haunted hay ride since the only trick or treating we usually do is at family's houses. I've got to get a picture/video of my decorations for a guy at work so I'll try to figure out how to post it here.

We had about 60 trick-or-treaters. I was shocked there were so many this year. That's a lot for us. We always sit outside on the bench and hand out candy that way. Some little munchkins stuck their hands in the bowl. Not cool. The candies will be handed out in an orderly fashion. Take a number.  Pumpkin decorating on the fly...Attachment Deleted |

We went to a friend's house for dinner and trick or treating. It was chilly outside but we had a lot of fun.
