Hi, everyone! Earlier this week, I mentioned that I was working on publishing a children's book. Well, now it is available for you to buy on amazon. This book originally started as a screenplay, but I have reformatted it into a children's book. Ten years after its first draft was written comes a story about never being afraid to be yourself. Its star is a girl named Charisma Ridgeway who lives in Victorian England. Since she is wealthy, she is expected to basically spend her days sitting around knitting, attending tea parties, and making appearances at balls and parties. However, Charisma is very independent and prefers to do things for herself. As a result, she spends a lot of her time in the kitchen with her family's servants, where she learns to cook and sew, and out in the barn with her family's stablemen where she learns to work with horses. Her parents, Lydia and Gerald, and her sisters, Amber and Rose, are consistently mortified by her behavior because she isn't acting in the way expected of someone of their class. Eventually, Charisma embarrasses her family so badly that they demand that she leave the house and go become a servant for real. She follows their orders and takes a job with a family called the Marsters, and she is actually happy there. Jane and Glen Marsters have a son named Royce who quickly becomes interested in Charisma because she is very different from all the other girls who his parents are always trying to convince him to marry, but Charisma doesn't believe that he actually likes her for who she is. And she doesn't have time to worry about it either because several months after she has left home, the town market crashes, and her family is left destitute. Since they have no survival skills, they are forced to move in with Charisma so that she can support and take care of them during their time of need. Will these circumstances cause the Ridgeways to finally accept Charisma for who she is? And will Royce eventually be able to convince Charisma that he loves her for who she really is? I just wasn't sure where to put it since this is a different type of writing than my usual stuff.

Thank you, everyone! I created the cover using the drawing toolbar in Microsoft Word. Just a heart, a few circles, and WordArt, and I had a locket. That necklace has a lot of significance in the story, by the way.
