I was over on the Daytime Royalty board and someone over there posted this tweet and picture from Alison Sweeney for all the Lumi fans. Ali_Sweeney: Lumi fans. This ones for you. #Days lockerz.com/s/141775819twitter.com/#!/Ali_Sweeney/status/117813460485668864  I know that this tweet and this picture could mean nothing but it is weird that after the new headwriters had their dinner with some actor that was supposed to be making Lauren Koslow happy that Ali Sweeney just posts this lumi picture. I don't know for sure that BD is coming back but I do think that it is an excellent sign that AS is trying to give her lumi fans something to be happy about and hopefully it ends up meaning that Lucas is coming back in 2012. |

Interesting detective work, karebr. Let's hope so. I want Lucas to come to town, kick big brother Austin's butt, drive him out of town (Carrie too) and immediately return to Sami where he belongs.

Thanks for posting Karebr. Great looking picture whatever it may mean. I know that Bryan/Lucas are well liked by the current PTB so I do think it is just a matter of timing (and money of course).
ETA: I agree that Alison tends to be savvy with her timing of certain tweets so I can see where you are coming from with that thinking.

I'm not much of a Lumi fan,but if he comes back,I'm happy for those of you who are.I just wouldn't get my hopes up,the tweet could mean nothing.She likes to share what's going on in her life,and maybe she just wanted us to see that they do still hang out.

I wasn't a huge Lumi fan, but I do believe that Sami belongs with Lucas.
I like Lucas very much and really hope to see him return!

I'm not getting my hopes up either. I'm sure Ali and Bryan still talk and hang out. I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that this means his return is imminent. I would love to see him back but I'll wait till I hear it from TPTB.

I'm certainly not getting my hopes up either, but it's been stated by Patrick Muldoon and Christie Clark that they are back today in part because of a pic that Ali took of them when they went out for lunch one day and the reaction that tweet pic provided.
If that is any indicator then the reaction of the Bryan/Ali picture even shocked Ali who replied to a twitter follower who had looked up the reaction to her pic and noticed an overwhelming amount of support for not only Bryan's return, but Lumi's return also. Many were pleading to have TPTB bring him back, others assumed he was back and many, many expressed how much they truly missed Bryan.
I'm hoping Marlene and Darrell finally see that not only is Lucas wanted, and not only is Bryan missed but the potential to KEEP viewers or bring some back that STILL haven't tuned in as of today is great with a Bryan return. Even if it's in February or May, the hints, leaks should start happening soon if they intend to bring him back.

I just found some interesting tweets that Marlene tweeted to some Lucas and Lumi fans in response to Lucas returning that were posted over on the daytime royalty board.
I'm still not saying that he is definitely going to be back but it is definitely looking more and more promising that BD/Lucas will be back by sometime next year especially since Marlene keeps saying stay tuned and we love Lucas too. This is not the first time that she tweeted to Lucas fans to stay tuned. It is still a good idea to stay cautiously optimistic because you never know what will happen but I do believe there is a really good chance that we will see Lucas back by next summer at the latest.

That would be a very no no thing to say if there wasn't a chance for it. I seriously hope it was him that she said would make Kate happy that she was eating lunch with! YAHOO!
