Beginning Friday, July 21, Judi Evans (Adrienne) will play two roles on DAYS when Bonnie Lockhart, who was last seen in Salem in 2007, returns to the canvas. The storyline, which teams Evans in scenes with both Deidre Hall (Marlena) and Morgan Fairchild (Anjelica), is one of new Head Writer Ron Carlivati’s first. “Deidre and I had never worked together before and we just had a blast,” Evans tells Digest. “We really enjoyed working together so much…. The writing is hilarious. I’m excited to see the fans enjoy it as well.”

They may have had fun together, but the scenes that actually make it to our screens will be the determining factor on if we enjoy it. It may be unfair, but I just can't get my hopes up.

And if Bonnie is returning - does this mean that Mimi will return at some point?

I'm guessing that Bonnie and Hattie could have met in prison but who knows.

sudsyclassix , Bonnie's story was awful. She was low class and somehow got Mickey to marry her. I think it was while he thought Maggie was dead. It was a waste of airtime.

Not sure how I feel about the re-emergence of Bonnie. It's hard to believe Deirdre and Judi never had any scenes, especially when you consider Will and Sonny were married.

Yes, Bonnie and Mickey got together when Maggie was thought to have been killed but was really in Melaswen.

sudsyclassix - here is a little clip of Bonnie at the opening of Alice's. I didn't watch a lot after Maggie was "killed" and Mickey was turned into a buffoon. I did like the John/Kate pairing. John was much more animated and fun with Kate.

I love that video clip kathyj! Thanks. I do not remember it. I would definitely remember those t-shirted guys. Wow! I had no appreciation for Kyle Brandt as Philip back then, but I have a new appreciation for him now and I'm even a fan. I also didn't remember him sharing scenes with original Belle (Kirsten Storms). That was a cute scene with the two of them on the mechanical bull.

Ah, the days of bigger budgets. I did not like that Mickey. It looked like they aged him 20 yrs at the time. I also remember Bonnie had a dog and it was not Pookie.
