Happy Chloe is leaving? Of course not. Happy she was able to leave this way? Yes. She is doing it on her own terms (relatively speaking) and no man is coming to rescue her. THAT, to me, is the old Ghoul Girl that's been missing for far too long.
I'm satisfied that Chloe and Philip are back together, even if it is offscreen. In Soap Opera Land, offscreen just means more opportunities for FANTASTIC fanfic. So, I'm cool with that.
Also, I'm pretty sure the new writers won't forget about them. I'm sure we'll get updates through Justin, or whomever, while they are off in Chicago. So they won't completely disappear.

I am also happy a Broe fan like me got to see some great scenes near the end. Higley just seemed to forget the great love they had and just pushed it into the background.. Glad to see they end as good friends and Chloe on to the life she wants, with Parker.

I agree.I also like that Philip is no longer being painted as the villain in the whole thing. The guy who "took Parker away from his mother, won't let her see him,etc etc".So they've redeemed both IMO,although neither really needed it in a sense.
