from daytime royalty daytimeroyaltyonline.com/topic/8580299/1/SID: Madison James Arrives in Salem!; October 10th Issue Okay, maybe Sarah Jessica Parker won't be joining Days of Our Lives, but Sarah Joy Brown, who debuts as Madison on Tuesday, October 4th, did model her character after the fashion maven's Sex & The City alter ago, Carrie. "She's just soft, feminine and beautiful, but strong on the inside," the Emmy winner explains. And just like Carrie, the queen of romantic scrapes, Madison will immediately step in it with one of Salem's hunks. (There'll be no soap-style lurking for this girl!) "Literally, within moments of me coming on the canvas, you go, 'I see some sparks over there,'" Brown previews of Madison's relationship with Brady. "We have a really funny mistaken-identity thing. And right away there's a game between them." So what does the ever-possessive Nicole have to say about that? "She's none too pleased about my presence," Brown says with a grin.

Oh boy. Mistaken identity. This could either be really good or really bad.

And why are they pimping a couple before they even air?Haven't they learned that to do that is usually a big mistake??

I'm just hoping that since Madison is supposed to be a rival for Kate, that they don't put Sami back in EJs orbit. Sami/Kate...yes. Sami/EJ...no!

Oh god I hadn't even thought of that....great,now the thought's in my head, lol. They've actually kept EJami out of eachother's orbit for a while now, which is nice. It's been at least a month I think since we've seen them in a scene together.I agree,I SOOO don't want to see that again.

I HATE what they did with Bricole, yet again, however, I could learn to like this couple. Hopefully she doesn't disappoint!

I don't like that they're alrady pimping a Madison/Brady coupling.Don't tell me who I'm supposed to like, let me see them and grow to like them for myself ya know?Telling me I'm going to like them and I'm supposed to root for them is just going to have the opposite effect.

You can't root for a character/coupling that you haven't even seen or met one of the characters. Let me rephrase what I said, I could end up liking them, who knows. I know I hated Arianna so if it is anything like that then no thanks!

I neither like, nor dislike this couple. I love Brady, but I don't know this Madison chick, so she could be awesome, or annoying. If she's exactly like Carrie Bradshaw, she's going to drive me up the wall. Carrie was way too neurotic for her own good, and I would have dumped her a loooooong time ago. But she's clearly not Taywhore, so I'm going to reserve judgement till later.

I'm going to reserve judgement too,but my point is,don't ask us to like her, don't tell us to root for her if we haven't met her.Brady we all know, and most of us love him,but we don't know this Madison from a hole in the wall.
