Hard to believe it's about a week away.
I'm thinking about taking Monday off and making it a nice four day weekend.
What are everyone's plans?

I hope to gig some Flounder and stuff them with Crab, then put it on the grill.
Plus try and go 7 or 8 deep on a case of beer!
Then go to the Bluffs and watch the Downtown Fireworks Show.
We'll have to see.

Happy Independence Day everyone. Not watching any fireworks live. Too crowded and I despise crowds. Will watch later on TV, Freedom over Texas with this years artist Hunter Hayes.

Happy Fourth of July, everybody! Hope you're all having a nice day! Kind of a quiet day for me. Staying home mostly, until tonight. Then, my parents and I are gonna go watch the fireworks, which will be nice. Incidentally, I played several patriotic songs for Independence Day, as well as a few other surprises, on my show yesterday. I watched fireworks outside for a while last night, but mostly watched the professionals do it right on A Capitol Fourth and the Macy's Spectacular. Much more impressive than what I can see from my yard. André DiMera, great job on the songs. A nice combination of popular and eclectic. I love it that you played Jen Lilley and Eric Martsolf's version of Baby It's Cold Outside! And my favorite O Holy Night by Nat King Cole. Not sure of the significance of Jimmy Buffet's Come Monday, but it's another favorite and a pleasure to hear. Did you ever hear this version of The Declaration? |

No, I've not heard of that version before, Kpatch! It sounds cool! And there was really no significance to "Come Monday" by Jimmy Buffett, I just needed to fill time between "O Holy Night" and "God Bless the U.S.A.", and I like that song. |
