Sonny seems to be completely fixated on running Titan. This is a complete change of pace for him to the point that he has been written way out of character. Sonny has never really been the cutthroat type of person they are trying to portray him as with his desire to oust Deimos and his change in wardrobe and hairstyle. That got me to thinking - what would happen if Philip were to rejoin the Salemites to go head to head with Sonny to claim his spot at Titan as CEO since it's more than obvious that Victor is now willing to step aside?

I'd like to see Philip return and take over Titan.
Sonny has completely changed for the worse in his obsession with Deimos and becoming the Titan CEO.

Philip SHOULD be CEO. It's his birthright. Sonny is so wrong in this role. He wasn't groomed for it and if he can't run a division without grumbling, he is not mature enough to handle the whole enchillada. I don't like the personality change that has come along with his newfound ambition.

Deimos was the one that destroyed the relationship between Philip & his Dad, but now Victor needs to forgive. Deimos has done enough damage to his family. I have maintained that Philip or Brady should be CEO and not Sonny. Sonny can be an assistant for now and maybe down the line a Co-CEO

Philip and Victor have always had a tumultuous relationship. Victor was fired and/or disowned several times over the years. You'd think Victor would want a closer relationship with his only surviving son Philip. It's Philip's birthright to be CEO.

I am with just about everyone else... Philip is the only person for the job.

I agree that by birthright Philip should be CEO.
With the Sonny of old, the one that ran TBD and married Will, I think he would have stepped aside and let Philip have his birthright. It was never about power and money for that Sonny.
With the character re-written Sonny - I can't see him doing that. I think there would be a huge internal power struggle and the internal family cut-throat tactics would continue. Brady and Philip sparred, but I think that Sonny and Philip would be a whole new level.

I used to want Sonny to be the CEO, but not for it to change him into whatever this is. I like the idea of having Philip come back and take over. But I'm afraid of that now because this Sonny would probably turn darker. I want the real Sonny back! I'm sure there's a way to write the story so this Sonny encounters something that makes him realize he's doing this wrong and maybe he then convinces Uncle Vic to bring Philip home.
I don't think Brady has it to be a good CEO. Make him Executive VP or something like that.
I'd love to see a slightly older, spunkier Ciara come back to Salem and quickly work her way up the ladder, giving Brady and Sonny some grief.

Maybe Sonny has a case of Metropolitan Madness. I don't think Brady has it to be a good CEO. Make him Executive VP or something like that. I thought you were going to say Brady doesn't have the heart to be a good CEO. Get it? Hahaha.
