To start, a police dept that isn't very good with crime.

There are very few restaurants.

Dangerous parks.
High percentage of people die young.
High divorce rate.
You run into people you know whether you want to or not.
Nepotism would make it hard to find a job if your name's not Horton, Brady, Kiriakis, Hernandez, or Dimera.

The hospital is too unreliable. Drugs always stolen & tests are changed.
Always have to be dressed up. Hardly ever see any just jeans & a t-shirt
Always have to wear make-up.

Children you never knew you had turn up as adults. You didn't have the chance to raise them.
The children you did raise leave and are never seen again.
