Summer Preview from Soap Digest-

***Most of this will be happening in the coming weeks and it appears most are still from the old writing regime. The new writing regime will overlap with the old starting sometime in mid-July. Their own work will not begin airing until probably around late August/early September.***

Steve/Kayla/Tripp: Tripp moves forward in his quest for revenge. Kayla is faced with new challenges and must fight for her career as Tripp plans on ruining it, and possibly something more. Steve becomes suspicious and Joey begins to take charge.

Anjelica Returns: Anjelica Deveraux returns with evil on her mind. Jennifer and Adrienne, along with Steve's assistance, must overcome obstacles she sets before them. Her plan is more than it seems at first. She wreaks havoc and also reintroduces two characters to the canvas.

Murder Mystery: A murder mystery takes place and many of Salem's heroes are accused of the crime.

Hattie: Hattie comes back to Salem and makes an unlikely acquaintance. This will affect the lives of many Salem-ites.

Hope/Rafe: Hope and Rafe discuss marriage, but then bigger issues come into play.

Island Fever: On the island, everyone is just trying to survive. While a secret of the island is revealed, one Salem resident catches an illness with very strange side effects, and everyone's character is tested.

Chad/Abby/Gabi/Dario: Dario and Abby move forward with their arranged marriage, as suspicions arise. Abby has to make a choice, one that will not be easy. Chad, meanwhile, searches for the truth.

Deimos: Deimos is revealed to be a person of interest in a new epidemic that hits Salem. Just as Hope and Rafe work hard to put an end to the Halo distribution. The story will take a surprising turn when Deimos goes too far.

Theo/Claire: Desperate for fame and viewership, Claire makes a move to become infamous. But at what cost to her relationship with Theo? As a result, their romance is tested.

In the FB remarks, it also says: This is all the show released for now but inside sources say that what they are taping now shows Chad and Abby get back together.

I wonder if more of Justin's sons will come to Salem as part of the Angelica story.

I really look forward to seeing Hattie again, but really wish it was Andrea Hall. I understand she has a busy schedule, being a teacher. But, they could pull her in during her off season and tape a few episodes.

Booo another epidemic. Cause the last one wasn't boring and lame enough. Maybe Gabi will remember that JJ risked his life to save hers during the last one and stop being ridiculous.

So I just read on days cafe that when Hattie returns so does Rolf and they still have the hots for each other
I dunno how anyone else feels about this but I luv Rolf so I'm up for it
It said could be a fall wedding

I had also read about Rolf coming back, but I didn't remember them together. Thanks doolfan4life. I guess Mr Roman is left out in the cold again. Well it would have been weird anyway with her looking just like Marlena.
