Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Chandler Massey is reprising the role of Will Horton and will be working with Alison Sweeney (Sami). No details yet on how Will's death will be explained/reversed.

I know people have been crying for this ever since he was killed but, while I really liked Chandler Massey I am very tired of characters coming back from the dead. He was D-E-A-D dead, not possibly dead or possibly alive like EJ was. So many of the scenes surrounding his death were so good. I'm not thrilled. I guess they figured Sonny and Paul were too boring without Will.

I'm surprised Chandler agreed to come back. I thought there were hard feelings when he left. I remembered even Charlie Sheen of all people commented inn Days treatment of Chandler.

I, personally, cannot wait! I really enjoyed Chandler as Will last time, and though Guy was good, I was hoping that if Will came back, he'd be played by Chandler. Glad to see him coming back! Can't wait to see what they do with his character.

I'm glad Will will be back. His brutal murder was unnecessary and I hope he will shake things up between Paul and Sonny.

I'm not thrilled with them resurrecting him from the dead as that storyline has been done way too many times.

I'm not a fan of Paul and Sonny so I'm hoping that this somehow splits them.

Maybe Will, Paige and Serena and any other of Ben's victims are living in an alternate version of Salem. I'm secretly hoping Sami is just an apparition.

I'm glad his fans are happy, but for me this seems like a desperate stunt. If you make a list of the current cast, there are enough people there to write an interesting soap opera. You don't need to bring people back who were killed onscreen. Some of the new ones were put there to replace the ones that Ben killed. They'll have to be fired now to keep the cast a manageable size. And with the focus on Sami and Will, that will leave everyone else's storylines in the dust. Steve and Kayla, John and Marlena, Adrienne and Justin, Chad and Abby, and anyone else in Salem are all going to take a back seat now. And I thought the new writer would be improving Days. NOT! And PS, giving this news four months in advance ruins any shocking impact it might have had. There is officially zero reason to watch anymore when it's all announced months before it airs. I'll be fine if Will coming back is temporary, as a ghost. Please let it be that. It's just that speculation about his return is overshadowing the actual current storylines and cast and making it seem like they don't matter. I don't approve of this attitude. "It was a mistake killing him off." Yes, but it was a mistake killing off Bo, Jack, and other central characters too. This show has become a parody of a soap opera with its reliance on bringing people back from the dead. Let's just bring them all back. Why choose only one? I feel for the current cast who are going to be tossed out of the spotlight after all their hard work. I can imagine how hurt they are going to be.

I got the impression that Sami's return is temporary.

I'm curious to see how Will's return is written. There have been rumors about his return for awhile.

I'm wondering if they're going to make it somehow that all of Guy Wilson's version of Will was not the real Will, since they have Chandler Massey back. Certainly the Will that blackmailed Paul was not acting like the Will I knew.
