I thought it might be interesting to put ourselves in a character's shoes.
If you were Abby and your husband was in love with you AND another woman, what would you do? How would you feel.

I liked Abigail's analogy of being in a tug of war and she let go. I think I would stop trying so hard and go on with my life. I don't know if I would leave but I would make sure he knows where the door is. But, I'm older than a lot of you and I don't have time to waste.

In this case it was my fault they fell in love in the 1st place, so I would work with my husband to keep my marriage going. I would get counseling as long as needed. He will not love her forever especially as Gabi will find someone else eventually. I probably would consider moving to have that constant bumping into each other taken care of. Salem must have other cities/towns around it.

I'm with sportsgirl. The marriage being in the situation it is in would be my fault. Instead of just saying the words, the actions need to follow. Upon my return, everything would need to be re-analyzed. Counseling for both myself and for my family would be priority before making any life changing decisions. If after all of that, it's time to let go, then so be it. At that point, we all would have done some much needed soul searching to know where to go next. |

I also agree with sportsgirlTherapy is a given especially after the whole faking death But if my husband is in love with another woman because I faked my death (this would never happen but we will go with that), I wouldn't be acting like the innocent Age has nothing to do with it, it's more about maturity Own up to your actions and make it right and if you aren't willing don't blame him before looking in the mirror In this case Abby is just causing one problem after another and playing victim as well as what ever it is happening with Dario and I actually believe this is an excuse to eventually sleep with him because she sleeps with anyone and justifies it one way or another I think people who cheat get jealous easily because they know how easy it is, Abby is just taking the easy way out now I personally find Abby's character unrelatable as she's just as devious as she is an airhead Chad is actually better off without her, I just wish she'd actually think about Thomas above herself Chad is the most stable thing in that child's life He should be staying with him primarily IMO |
