Joey is such an idiot I can totally see him telling this kid he killed his mother. Why don't they just have him confess to the police and get it over with!!!
BTW - I'm totally uninterested in Steve's offspring - all of them.

If Joey is really going to tell Tripp the truth, then Joey should take a walk upstairs at the Horton House like Tommy & Nathan did. Just disappear never to be seen again. No son of Steve & Kayla should be that dumb. We never saw Joey actually grow up, so let that trend continue.
