I was very impressed with the actor playing Chad today. I saw a new side of him. He looked really emotional when he was at Java with EJ and Johnny talking about his new birthday. Loved his line about spending the day finding out what it's like to be a Pisces. I even liked the brief scene he had with Abby. You could see the wheels turning as he was sizing her up and putting her down for being so judgmental.
The actor relates well to every cast member he's had scenes with, from Stefano to Johnny. Good job.

Today was the first day that I really started to like him. Up until now, he's just been this snarky brat. I think Abby will be a great match for him. They both seem so quick-witted. This is gonna be fun!  |

I agree, he is totally growing as an actor & as a character. The love how he isn't afraid to make fun of the DiMera's right to their faces.. I loved the joke about his car!

To have started out as a quasi bad guy, he sure has turned around....I've been liking him for awhile and now I'm really enjoying his scenes now.....the little smile when Johnny says "I don't like that girl" and he says "who would?" (or something to that affect) was cute....yeppers, Chad and Abby are destined.....!!
And once again, and again, I have to complement the dialogue writers....superior job...!!!

Oh, sportsgirl reminded me ... about Chad's car. He said he's never had a car accident. Wasn't he driving when there was an accident that sent him and Mia to the hospital when he first came on the show?

I thought that these scenes were rather well done...Now I feel kind of bad though cause what did Chad end up doing for his bday? Oh well, he got to spend it with his new little buddy.
I hated Chad when he first came to Salem. I started liking him right after the whole knife thing and DNA with Stefano. I thought he did an AMAZING job with Theo and Johnny at the wedding. He is even good with EJ. I cannot imagine how intimidating it must be working with Joe Mascolo, but he and Chad do great too. I remember him asking Stefano if he was going to start calling him Chadwick or not and Stefano laughed. He sure is growing as an actor and a character and I like it. I thought his scenes were quite nice with Abby too...wonder when they will meet up again?

Honestly I really didn't enjoy Chad or Casey at all until his first scene with Johnny when he brought the little guy the frog after his surgery.But at the wedding is when I literally went "Whoa...wait a minute!"Is it wrong that a woman my age thinks he's just adorable? *looks around innocently*Don't tell Jay I said that!

I cannot imagine how intimidating it must be working with Joe Mascolo, but he and Chad do great too. This reminded me of when Casey (Chad) and Molly (Melanie) did their YouTube dance off video last year and were filming on set....Casey had parked in Joe Mascolo (Stefano) parking space and Joe was not a happy camper, he came and got Casey and escorted him to the parking lot to move his car....Casey said he was truly scared of the guy...... |

Jay said the same thing in an interview a while back.Something about his first day on set years ago,Jay was walkin' down the hall and Joe stopped him to say hello or somethin'.Jay said he was shaking and hugging the wall thinkin' "My god that's Stefano!"LOL.

I wouldn't have minded being the wall he hugged,lol.It would seem you and I have the same goal,lol.I missed the boat with Jay,but I'd love to meet Joe.

I've already started saving for next year's soap cruise (well, whatever replaces the cruise). Anybody know if there's going to be another Day of Days? LA is so far away from Florida, but I could be persuaded to make the trip. Maybe we could all get a group rate? |
