Kate Mansi was a hard act to follow but Marci Miller just can't cut it. Too much overacting, and the constant shaky voice is really annoying. I just want Abigail to go away forever if they can't find a decent replacement.

Welcome cetj98168. I have to agree with you. Marci leaves me cold. She is so blah. I don't find her performance realistic or sympathetic. It's possible that the reason is in part the fact she's stuck in a horrible repetitive storyline. She and Chad have no chemistry. She doesn't really have chemistry with any characters with the possible exception of Dario.

Welcome cetj98168. I actually have the opposite feeling. I think Marci Miller is one of the best recasts they've had. She's been given a very stupid story which relies on the stereotype that mental illness = massive instability and is knocking her scenes out of the park. If she's ever given decent material she will probably be even better.

I like her I think she has crappy material to work with but my hopes are that she gets a better one and I may like Abby again I think Kate was an easy act to follow cuz she didn't really act as much as she whined and I got sick of looking at her dirty hair that she never took out of that disgusting bun Personally I think Abby is a crap character and that must be hard for Marci to step into this role

In my case, it's not really about whatever actress is playing Abigail. It's about the way the character is being written. The show really hasn't allowed her to discover who she is outside of being involved in destructive relationships. She always feels like she needs to have a man in her life, but she never chooses well. Or when she does, she ruins it because she gets bored and wants something else. I used to like Abby because I could relate to wanting to do the right thing and trying to be the good girl. However, once she started cheating on her boyfriends and getting involved in age-inappropriate relationships,I really wasn't happy with her anymore.

I have grown to really like Marci. She is doing a great job given the junk she is given to do. She is truly making Abigail her own.

I think the actress is doing the best with the material she's given, but not sure the writers have really thought out if they want Chad/Abby or Chad/Gabi. Once the writing team really decides, then they can draw out a good story line one way or another. But right now, they're all coming off as horny bed hopping teenagers who are more involved in themselves than the rest of the world.

Yes, they're coming off as hormone-ruled teens who can't make a definite decision about what or who they want in life. And they all have children. Thomas and Ariana would be great people to start focusing on if they ever hope to move on from living in this back-and-forth love triangle.

I thought this Abigail had great chemistry with the first Stefan O. He left the show very quickly but he was believable in being very obsessed with her when she had the dual personalities.

Hey longtimefan93, I felt the same way about the brother and sister feeling. Talk about zero chemistry!
