DAYS Casting Contract Role

DAYS is looking for "Julian", who is described as a 20 to 30-year-old gorgeous, extremely well-built African-American male. The casting call reads: "He is authentic, heroic and incredibly charming without trying. He has an ease and confidence about him that melts just about any woman he encounters. There is a darkness in his past that at times cast a shadow on his otherwise charmed life."

If Lexie has an affair with him, at least that would make her interesting.

I like how the casting call is for a "gorgeous, extremely well-built African-American male." They don't waste time with words like "attractive" or "athletic." They just go straight for the mega hotness factor. Nice.

Who would you like to see cast in this role?

It might make her interesting, but it would also give her & Abe more screen time and I'm sure there are several people here who would rather that not happen....


Maybe, just maybe they could make it interesting if Abe has an affair with Taylor b/c of Lexie's affair and then Abe and Taylor both leave Salem.............would be a great opportunity to ship both out as far as I'm concerened. I've never been a fan of Abe's anyway.

I'm thinking this is Brandon Walker. Casting calls often use fake names so the show can keep their plans under wraps.

That would be interesting if it is Brandon Walker. I hope its not Brandon Walker though. I think it would be interesting if this person was for someone in that age group like Nicole or even the new person Madison.

I don't think that is Brandon Walker because of the age range. He should be at least in his 30s. I think that this character could very well be connected to Abe's brother: Jonah. I think that this could be Benjamin Reardon, who is Wendy Reardon's son as well as Austin Reed and Jonah's godson. Back in the early 90s, Jonah delivered Wendy's baby in the back of a cab, Benjamin. She also named her friends Jonah/Austin the godparents. Wendy and Jonah also dated. I think that this character could hang out with the Abigail/Will/Chad/Sonny/Gabi crowd, He could even take an interest in either Abigail or Gabi, preferably Gabi, since she is going to be alone soon. He could be involved in that storyline as well as Abe/Lexie and Carrie/Austin. Heck who knows, maybe Bo/Hope could investigate Jonah's mysterious disappearance back in the 90s.

Another possibility is a recast Jett Carver who is Abe's nephew.

The thing with age, Tabby, is that Days tends to disregard it. Based on his last stint in Salem, Nicholas Alamain should be in his late 30s at least. When they brought him back, he was in his early 20s.

What about Maxine's son? That was speculated once upon a time. I would like it if Maxine had more screen time.

Jonah? Benjamin Reardon? Who the heck are those people? I've never heard of them, and I was watching in the early 90s. How did I miss so many people?!? Guess my memory isn't what it used to be.

No telling who this guy is gonna be, but I'm looking forward to more delicious eye candy.

I realize that jkjpatch. The main reason why I don't think that this should be Brandon is mainly because his fairly recent history with both Lexie and Sami. I just think that Days should definitely keep Brandon in the Nicole/EJ/Sami/Rafe/Carrie/Austin/Brady/Madison age range. I think that it would be ridiculous for Brandon to be around Will's age since he was married to Sami briefly, not to mention that he had an affair with Lexie. That would be as bad as EJ being older than Will when, in fact, Will should be older than EJ. EJ should be at least 13 years not 30+. In addition, I also would prefer Matt Cedeno reprise his role as Brandon.

As for the character, I think that it should either be a recast Jett or Benjamin Reardon, Austin and Jonah's godson mainly because he could fit easily into the Will/Chad/Sonny/Abigail/Gabi group. Once Will comes out of the closet Gabi will need someone to comfort her and this person could be the one to do that. If it is Benjamin, it would also be a great nod to the following character's history: Abe, Lexie, Carrie, and Austin. It would provide them as well as Bo/Hope with storyline possiblities. Bo and Hope could investigate Jonah's disappearance back in 1990s.

I agree with about Maxine. She should have a bigger role in Salem.

I remember Jonah and Wendy now that you mention them, Tabby. I am curious to see if he will indeed be an actual character from Days history or a new character. Maybe Abe has another illegitimate son...
