The way the article reads is that Ciara will leave. However, I just can't see Ciara being completely written off the show. It may take a little while, but I'm sure Ciara will be recast.
I'm glad she's leaving. I never did like her portrayal of Ciara and honestly haven't liked any of the teens. Theo has been the only one that was a good cast.

Shawn, Belle, Mimi, Phillip and then later on added Chelsea, Melanie, Stephanie and Max. The younger scene was filled with characters that you actually cared about and were invested in. |

Lately Ciara doesn't annoy me as much as some other characters. I wonder if she will decide to go to college out of state.

Sorry myst85. It's good some people will miss her. Personally I think she's a horrible actress and viewers deserve better. I hope Wyatt will be staying, but I don't want to see him fight for Claire or Jade. He could actually take over the role of Joey. That would be ideal! |

myst85, I don't hate her and I think she slightly improved, plus she is so much better than Jade, but she just never grew on me either.

I don't feel the actress is good at all and she has not improved much IMO. But the worst thing is that the show took away all the spunk and fire from the character when they aged her. Ideally, the show will have the character leave for a file and bring her back as a more recognizable version of the Ciara most of us loved when she was a kid.
I agree that the viewers deserve a show cast with people who can act and with decent stories. Whether we like it or not, this show is on the bubble and bad acting and unoriginal, boring writing will not keep the show on the air. There are plenty of talented actors who need a job. Give them a chance.
