I loved this update. I used to write unusual fiction on the Teens of Days of our lives site. If anyone visited there. I was Chica16. lol Anyways I used to write tons of Shawn and Chloe fan fiction. I used to love the possibility of them before Brady came along. lol So my shloe heart fluttered a little to see them together in this story. I can't wait to read how this happened.

SALEM HIGH SCHOOL REUNION

Philip made an excuse and got away from Chloe and Shawn as fast as possible. He ran into Mimi, the one person he didn't mind seeing, but at that moment, he felt like he couldn’t breathe and gave her the brush off.

Philip needed some air and he couldn’t get outside fast enough. Once outside, he let the evening breeze wash over him. He sat down on the steps at the entrance to Salem High -- steps he sat on so many times before. He used to meet up with his teammates there for basketball practice, for baseball practice, for band practice. His mother called him a “joiner” and worried he was overextending himself. He also used to meet Chloe on these steps after school, and he quickly lost all interest in anything else. He gave up sports. He gave up music. He gave up many of his friends. His life revolved around her. And once she wasn’t in his life anymore, he had nothing. He had no one. He became a loner. And he still was.

He lit up a cigarette, a bad habit that he picked up while he was in the Marines, one he was never able to kick. Living in Brazil while running Titan’s Latin American division made it okay to smoke. Everyone smokes in South America, and not only cigarettes.

As he sat there puffing on a Marlboro, he berated himself for coming to the reunion. He had almost forgotten how much he hated Chloe. She turned him into a bitter 18 year old, and now 10 years later, he was still bitter. He sometimes wondered if the reason she haunted him so much was because of some unfinished business ... because they almost made love once, but never sealed the deal.
Philip: Maybe I should just get her into bed and be done with it. Maybe then, the thought of her wouldn’t bother me so much.

It shouldn’t surprise him that she showed up with a man on her arm. Someone who looks as good as Chloe would never be alone. Philip wondered what happened with her and Brady. His father had obviously withheld that information from Philip. He laughed to himself that she was now with Shawn. Figures. Shawn takes Belle away from him and now he’s got Chloe. A flash of glee crossed Philip’s face as it dawned on him that if Shawn and Belle had split up, that would mean Belle was available.

Out of the corner of his eye, Philip saw a few girls run up the steps past him. They stopped and one of them spoke to him.
“Can you spare a cigarette, Mister?”
Philip looked off in the opposite direction pretending not to hear and hoping they would go away. He was in no mood for talk, small or otherwise.
“I said... have you got a cigarette? Hey, is that you? It is you, Uncle Phil!”
Philip turned to look at the girls. “Chelsea.”
Chelsea hugged Philip. “I didn’t know you were in Salem.”
“I’m here on business,” Philip replied, quickly adding “I’m not staying.”
One of Chelsea’s friends cleared her throat. “Aren’t you gonna introduce us to your ... um ... uncle?”
“Oh. Sorry. Well I think you know Abby Deveraux.”
Philip nodded and waved his hand, almost dismissively.
“And this is Morgan Hollingsworth.”
“Hi Sugar,” the young woman drawled.
He found himself staring at the willowy blond who stood in front of him. He wondered if she was “old enough” and whether he would get arrested if he acted on the thoughts going through his mind about the underage blond. “Aren’t you all a little young to be at this reunion?” Philip asked wryly as he handed Chelsea his cigarette pack.
Chelsea defended herself. “Are you kidding? This is a great place to meet older ... I mean ... established men.”
Abby pulled Chelsea’s sweater. “Come on, let’s go inside.”
Chelsea agreed.
“Well, good seeing you Uncle Phil. Come on girls, let’s go.”
Morgan stared at Philip and hesitated. “Y’all go on ahead. I feel like staying out here with ... Uncle Phil.”
Philip looked up at Morgan and noticed how her platinum blond hair caught the moonlight. He licked his lips and decided that maybe tonight wouldn’t be a total waste after all.

Ohhh come on Philip. You yourself said that she was under aged. How old is Morgan in the story? She was in university on the show. Just woundering how old is she in this story. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. I am hoping for a Mimi and Philip team.
