BRADY PUB
Philip was sitting at the bar, still trying to absorb the words that Chloe had said, so he didn’t notice when someone else sat on the barstool where Chloe had been sitting.
Morgan: Hey sugar. I didn’t know you’d be here.
Philip was surprised to see Morgan. It was almost as if his nighttime life was spilling into his regular life. Morgan linked her arm in Philip’s.
Philip: What are you doing here?
Morgan: Chelsea invited me to her father’s birthday party. Wanna play darts?
From a table up front, Stephanie noticed Philip at the bar with Morgan and she decided to find out what was up.
Stephanie: Do you two know each other?
Morgan: Indeed we do. Quite well in fact.
Stephanie: Really?
Morgan: Steph, this is the guy I was telling you about.
Philip looked back and forth between the two women.
Philip: You know each other?
Morgan: Steph and me are in the same MBA program at Salem U.
Philip: Sh!t.
Stephanie: You can say that again. You louse.
Stephanie slapped Philip’s face, turned around and rejoined her family.
Morgan: Was it something I said?
MORGAN’S APARTMENT, THE NEXT MORNING
Morgan: When am I gonna see you again, sugar?
Philip: I’m going to be heading back to Brazil soon.
Morgan: I seem to remember you saying that a few times before. Yet you keep coming back.
She moves to kiss him and Philip backs away.
Philip: I’m sorry Morgan. I need to ... I need to try to be a better man.
Morgan: I like you just the way you are, sugar.
Philip: Well ... I don’t like myself very much. You’re a great person Morgan. Take care of yourself.
He kissed her on the cheek and left her apartment.

Thanks for the chapters Kpatch. Boy that was so painful for Philip and Chloe. So glad that Philip is dropping Morgan. It was so not right with between the two of them. Anxious to see what happens next.

Great chapter. Glad the girls found out the truth...well at least Stephanie did. Not that I liked her slapping Philip. But he totally deserved that one.
Looking forward to more Chloe action!

Philip, really? Of course Stephanie and Morgan know each other - it's Salem! I was enjoying Philip with Stephanie in this story - they could have been really good together on the show if they had gotten Kpatch level writing. I don't remember things happening the way that Chloe describes; I see it from Philip's point of view, that Chloe dumped him for his obnoxious nephew (because Kyle's Brady was obnoxious to me) .... Philip might buy it and feel sorry for her but I don't.

So, you are right about Philip's side of the story. But Chloe's side of the story is really true too. Check out the confrontation, starting at about the 2:40 mark. |

Thanks for the clip Kpatch. I can't watch it from here but I have no doubt that your facts are accurate. I just meant that my interpretation/viewpoint has always been that Philip was right and Chloe was wrong and I was making a half-hearted statement of "that's my story and I'm sticking to it." I'm a bigger Philip fan than Chloe fan so it's default for me to side with Philip. Plus, I have my own personal grudge against Chloe and Brady for the pain and misery their storyline and scenes caused to me.  You know you did a great job with Philip & Stephanie's story if you got me to like them .... even dare I say it, prefer them ... I wasn't exactly a Stephanie fan either, but you make her (and them as a pair) much more likeable. |

Great chapter Kpatch! I was glad to see Philip come face to face with Morgan and Stephanie. I felt bad for Stephanie. First she sees Philip sing to Chloe, then she finds out about Morgan and Philip. I can't feel bad for Morgan since she seemed to be getting what she wanted out of the relationship.
Please may we have previews. I'll add a few Almond Joys on the side of the coconut rum!
