My favorite food on Thanksgiving is my mother in law's homemade dressing cooked inside the turkey.

I honestly love just about everything. I love candied yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, roasted brussel sprouts (something we usually have)... I also love pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Thanksgiving is my favorite meal of the year and I even love the leftovers.

I am making a noodle pudding, which is my absolute favorite. I'm not much of a turkey eater, so it's a good thing we have so many other things. Stuffing and yams are my other two favorites, and there will be some vegan dishes as my uncle is on a vegan diet, so I always look forward to those. I used to love peanut butter pie but I can't eat it anymore because I'm on a diabetic diet But my dad makes sugar free cookies and there's always some kind of pie I can eat, and I think my mom might have made brownies with the sugar free Reeses cups this year.

heroicmuse will you share your recipe for noodle pudding? That sounds interesting. Is that sweet or savory?

Hubby's family always serves a tasty broccoli casserole. We are making it this year.

heroicmuse will you share your recipe for noodle pudding? That sounds interesting. Is that sweet or savory? I'd like the noodle recipe as well heroicmuse. I like everything at Thanksgiving too. Turkey is pretty much my favorite thing. The white meat. I love stuffing and pumpkin pie. SaveSave

I like all Thanksgiving foods -- (sigh) I like all foods -- except eggs unless they are in cake.

I'm bummed that I won't get my mother in law's dressing this year. My brother in law's girlfriend is cooking the turkey. I have no idea what kind of dressing she makes.

What is the difference between dressing and stuffing? Is dressing more of a gravy?

What is the difference between dressing and stuffing? Is dressing more of a gravy? There's no difference to me. It could be a regional or family thing. Kinda like dinner and supper.
