Wow! To me this looks like a gut-wrenching week. I can't believe JJ cheated. Are we going to get some more flashbacks to things we've never seen? I certainly don't remember him hanging out with anyone. I'm going to hate seeing Theresa make Brady thinks she's back on drugs.  |

Ugh, I was hoping this was NOT JJ's secret. JJ cheating was out of character when it happened with Eve and it's out of character now, and meant to make us think Gabi is some sort of victim here when she's been attempting to cheat on JJ for almost two months.

Um. Adultery? That's only if they were married. Why is DAYS using that phrase. Hmmm, unless JJ cheated with a married woman? Before seeing this, I had been thinking when Theresa said she would figure out a way to make Brady think she's gone back to being the old Theresa it would involve JJ. I guess not. Thanks wendylou. |

Okay, I just saw some reveals from SOD on soapssheknows that Lani returns and has a secret that involves JJ. So, would he have cheated with her? He did go to Miami to investigate Abby's crash didn't he and that's where she is? If so, gross.
HOWEVER, here's another suggestion, I read a rumor that JJ and Laura already know Abby is alive and are hiding it b/c they think she is better off without Chad (an idea which I think is absolutely awful btw) but if they are - maybe JJ makes up a story about cheating with Lani or someone else to actually cover up something about Abby. I could see him not wanting to tell her b/c she is so close to Chad. If this is correct I absolutely hate that they are hiding her from Chad.
Also read that Shawn will return when Hope goes to jail later this month.

Someone elsewhere suggested that maybe JJ drank too much and woke up next to Lani and she made up a story that he slept with her when it didn't happen. I kind of like that theory though it's probably too sensible for this show. I don't like either the JJ cheated with Lani idea or the stupid hiding Abby from Chad idea. Not to mention that both of those contradict what has been seen on-screen.

I'm happy about Steve and Kayla.
I'm not happy about JJ cheating.
It's sad that Theresa has to make Brady think she's doing drugs so that she has an excuse to leave.

Was Jade actually ever sent back to Florida? I remember her parents threatening to send her to family there, but I care so little about Jade that I don't remember if it ever happened.
But if it did...could JJ have had a grief-ridden fling with Jade and if she's pregnant, could the baby be JJ's and not Joey's.
I know it's a crazy theory, but no crazier than JJ sleeping with Lani!

ProudTVJunkie , that's an interesting theory. The idea of JJ and Lani disgusts me. She was such a nothing character with no redeeming qualities. I'd rather see JJ hook up with Eve again. Hmmm. Eve? If JJ slept with someone else, I don't see it as cheating on Gabi. The show never solidified them as a couple and we never even saw them discuss being exclusive. They were just dating. At this point, I can see that they are more committed to each other (sort of) but right after Abby died? No, not exclusive.

She added nothing to the story line and waffled between boring and icky. You're right, they just kind of threw Gabi and JJ into a relationship without much discussion or follow up. The audience was left to assume how serious they were or weren't. Grief can really mess with someone, and although I won't go so far as to say someone gets a free pass for grief sex, I can see it as eventually being forgivable. (I felt the same way about EJ and Sami when they thought that Sydney had died.) |

I haven't been here for awhile. Whole under or mis-development that all characters suffer has just made me long for the old days. Jabi had such potential and they didn't properly build them up at all......so why should I feel any investment in them or care if JJ is confessing an infidelity? That just seems thrown in from nowhere.....don't like they are pushing Gabi towards Chad either... I'm only watching for Justin and Adrienne these days...and they're badly suffering mis-development and lack of build-up/story simmering too... Before a story would really simmer, and then they'd time all the reveals and revelations appropriately....but these days, it seems no one on this writing team remembers how to do that? Or even remembers how to write to the character history? Sigh. Rant over.
