Please link back to the DR. daytimeroyaltyonline.com/topic/8466755/1/#newSOD: Victor kisses Maggie!; 3/15 issue Maggie tries to mediate between a warring Brady and Victor, and winds up in a romantic clinch with Mr. K. "She pulls for the underdog," points out Suzanne Rogers (Maggie). "She knows that Victor is much more powerful than Brady. I always equate everything to the fact that Brady is an alcoholic and does things without thinking. That's basically why she's always coming to his defense." When Victor demands to know why she can't mind her own business, Maggie blurts out that she wants to help out the people that she loves. "She means one thing and Victor takes it to mean that's him," groans Rogers. "So he thinks it's a green light and then she's caught, because she realizes how he took it. She loves Brady and Melanie and Chloe and she loves him , but amongst the group." But that's not all she wants for the group - and Victor tries to get her to admit it. "Well, no," clarifies the actress. "But she's afraid of him. He makes her forget her moral compass. She has lived in this town for so long and has seen the good, but she's also seen the bad, and she knows that there's two Victor's. He tries to maneuver her, push her around, and she won't tolerate that. There's a fear there and it just depends on how smooth that silver-tongued fox is going to be, whether he sways her or not." Victor then surprises her with a kiss. Previews Rogers: " She's getting ready to leave and he says, 'Well, I haven't finished,' and she says, 'Okay, well, what is it?' And he pulls her to him and kisses her. It's a shock to her. All the things that would go through your mind in the half of a second, like, 'Do I want this?' 'I've never kissed a man with a mustache before.' Her hands ball up and she doesn't know what to do. It's a quandary. But he's a gorgeous looking person and she's going to have to deal with this. Both of them are too old to change, but whether she can tolerate this other side of him and whether or not he can keep it in check, I don't know that." Rogers is loving the pace of the tale. "It's a tennis match, it really is," she says. "I like that they're really playing it up. They're not rushing through it. It's what life is. I love it that Kate and Stefano and Victor and Maggie have gone to the demographics out of the water. If it's a good story, it's a good story. It doesn't matter who's playing it."

I can't wait to see it!
However, didn't Mickey have a moustache? LOL I get what she was saying, though...

I remember Mickey having a mustache, not the whole time, but for a while anyway.
I agree that this relationship is moving along at a nice, realistic pace for these two. I'm excited to see it unfold.

I feel like I have waited forever for this relationship to get somewhere. THe build up has been so long, I cannot wait for more! LOVE these two together and, while not being a fan of combo names, I love that their name is MAGIC. It suits them perfectly!!

Suzanne Rogers has ALWAYS been beautiful. It's amazing. Her pics in the "45 years of Days" book from the 70s are just as beautiful as when she's onscreen today! I don't know if she's had any work done, and if she did, it was a great job, but I sure hope I age as well as she has. I love her!
