I couldn't find an exact exit date for Fynn anywhere, but I did find this article:

The Days Actor is leaving Days of our Lives, and past role of Dr. Fynn Thompson in the past.

The DOOL actor, originally won a contest in Australia (AU) to nab the role, will last air in the role at the end of July.

During his time in Salem, Fynn obsessed over Daniel (ex-Shawn Christian), dated Ava (ex-Tamara Braun), and attempted to romance Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).

I honestly don't remember him dating Ava. Were they at the New Year's Eve fashion event together? Anyway, it looks like he just doesn't exist anymore...like Lani. It would have made more sense to leave him in California after he said good-bye to Kayla. I don't understand why he came back to chase her again for another day or two just to disappear for good.

Yes he attended the fashion show with Ava tapdancer.

I thought he was gone after the final scenes at the hotel in California. I was surprised to see him again in Salem.

If I remember correctly the role was originally intended to last about 6 months. I won't miss him.

I won't miss him, either, fluffysmom. I never liked him. I just hate the weird loose ends.
