Are you neat or not?
I am a bit of both. I am obsessively clean in the kitchen and living room, but not so much in the other rooms. They are often a cluttered mess.

I was diagnosed with OCD (among other things) years ago. I've always had a thing about labels on bottles/jars/whatever facing forward, and my bedroom is very neat, organized, and sort of empty because I can't stand clutter. I live with messy people, so I'm always straightening things.

I'm not very neat. It's an uphill battle with kids and pets. I'm trying to get more organized but too few cabinets and closets hinders my efforts.

I try but housekeeping does not come naturally to me. I try to keep things neat and clean but the finer points get away from me. I live in an 1860s farmhouse so nothing is going to be perfect but I am fine with that.

I am trying to learn to be organized, as I don't think my current lack of organizational skills will serve me well once I start school. My desk tends to be a depository for papers and junk  and every time I try to organize it my cat thinks sitting on the papers I'm trying to move is a fun game. I do make an effort to keep common areas neat and clean, though I'm hoping to find an apartment with a dishwasher as I'm not very good at hand washing dishes. |

Unless you like to wash your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. Dishwashers Suck! Use the Ted Bell way! 4 forks, 4 knives, 4 spoons, 4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 of this and 4 of that. That way your dishes will never get away from you. If you have a lot of dishes they can get away from you and stack up on the counter....from end to end. |

I keep my kitchen and bathroom very clean, but the rest of the place looks like a BOMB hit it. It is rumored I have a dining room table, but I have so much work stuff (work, I don't work and I HATE that word) stacked in there. Plus the living room and dining room is the babies play rooms. Translation, DESTROYED!

I mostly use paper plates. I may be a neat freak, but I'm also incredibly lazy and I usually eat take-out. I have a spoon and a bowl for my macaroni & cheese and ice cream. I eat with my hands the rest of the time. LOL

I wish I was neat but I am NOT. I have such a problem with paper clutter. I try to get rid of as much as I can but there are some things I don't know what do with so they end up in those huge piles. Also, between my long hair and my dog's long hair, the place is forever needing to be vacuumed. I keep trying though. |
