Great chapters Andre.
I'm glad that Tripp got called on his behavior. Curious to find out more about his father.
If Vivian is not already plotting something, I have a feeling that she will be soon.

Chapter 394 PARK Tripp let go of Joey's arm. TRIPP (whispering): This isn't over, Johnson. Tripp made his way to his father's car and got in. His father drove out. Mr. Dalton's first name is Jeff. JEFF: What have you done, son? TRIPP: I didn't do anything! God, what is with everybody lately? JEFF: Then explain to me why I got a call from your principal this afternoon telling me you've been harrassing girls at school. Come on, Tripp! You're better than this! We've been through this before. That, and your grades have dropped to an all-time low. TRIPP: Dad, you are such a hypocrite! You flirt all the time and then joke about it with the guys later. Besides, it's not like you got great grades, anyway. JEFF: You're supposed to be better than me. I've told you a million times, do as I say, not as I do. Jeff shook his head. JEFF: I've tried everything. Groundings and restrictions don't seem to have any effect. You aren't using your brain, and I know you've got one up there. Your mother and I have discussed it, and we've agreed on a solution. One where you won't have the opportunity to get distracted by girls or sports. ALAMAIN MANSION NICHOLAS: It is...difficult. VIVIAN: It can't be that difficult. Describe it to me, I'm sure I can keep up. ALAMAIN INDUSTRIES – FLASHBACK Nicholas was in his office, talking to Carly. NICHOLAS: Aunt Viv came out here to help me. If you help her, she can help me. Plus, you could remain totally anonymous. Aunt Viv would never have to know that it was you who got her out of that coma. CARLY: I can't treat Vivian. I just can't. It would be a conflict of interests. As you know very well, Vivian and I have a very long, complicated history. Even if I wanted to, there's no way that I'd be able to put everything that's happened aside and treat her like any other patient. There are other doctors at Salem University Hospital, many of whom don't have the history with Vivian that I have. If one of them were to consult with me, I would be able to suggest things that they may not have tried yet. As long as I don't administer any actual treatment. I would only be there to advise and make suggestions. NICHOLAS: And you'd be willing to do that? CARLY: Since it means so much to you, yes. But remember, I'm doing this for you, not Vivian. ALAMAIN MANSION NICHOLAS: Mother and I have a complicated history. But, she has shown that she is truly sorry for what she did, so I am giving her a second chance. VIVIAN: You've always been too kind for your own good, Nicky. NICHOLAS: Perhaps. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to finish this speech I'm writing for the grand reopening of Alamain Industries. Vivian got up. VIVIAN: Of course. I'll leave you to it, then. Vivian walked around the desk, gave Nicholas a kiss on the cheek, then walked out, closing the door behind her. VIVIAN (thinking): I don't know what that woman has on you, Nicholas, but rest assured, Auntie Vivian will find out. I'll clean up your mess, just as I've always done for you and your father.

Ooh I wonder what Tripp's dad has in mind. All boys' reform school maybe? I'm even more curious about what Vivian thinks is going on and what she plans on doing about it. Great chapter André DiMera. Will there be previews?

I think Tripp is headed to boot camp if he can't be distracted by sports. Now a days, all schools have some kind of sport activity. but if his grades have dropped so much, then why is he still on the team, or at the very minimum not benched? Is the school overlooking that because of him being a "star player"? Or is his dad's grade expectations straight A's?

Thanks for reading and commenting, everyone!
Next week... A decision has been made. JEFF: My boy's not gonna be making trouble for you anymore. Is this the last we'll see of Tripp? TRIPP: I've got a few things to say, and you're all gonna listen! Plus, how will Claire's return to Salem High go? CIARA: It's good to see you! And later this week, the grand re-opening of Alamain Industries. NICHOLAS: I am confident that we are going to have a bright future. All this and more next week on THE MELASWEN PARADOX!

It sounds like Tripp is twice as determined to make trouble now! Hopefully he won't get anywhere. I'm glad Claire is back at school! I hope it goes well. So glad in this story she and Ciara are friends and not fighting for no reason. Can't wait for this press conference. Thanks for the previews André DiMera

Chapter 395 SHAWN-D & BELLE'S HOUSE The weekend had gone by without incident and on Monday, Chase had stopped over at Shawn-D and Belle's on his way to school. BELLE: Good morning, Chase. How are you? CHASE: Hi, Mrs. Brady. I'm good. BELLE: That's good. Claire'll be down in a minute. She's just upstairs getting her bag. CHASE: Awesome. A moment later, Claire walked down the stairs and hugged Chase tight. Her color had come back and she looked much more perky than she had in a while. CHASE: Hey. CLAIRE: Hey. Thanks again for taking care of me this weekend. CHASE: No problem. How're you feeling? CLAIRE: So much better! These new meds Dr. Kirshner put me on are working great! CHASE: I'm so glad! BELLE: Now, Claire, remember to take it easy today. Like Dr. Kirshner said, don't overdo it. And if you start feeling off, call me. CLAIRE: I will, Mom. I'll be fine. Belle and Claire hugged. BELLE: Good luck at school today, sweetie. CLAIRE: Thanks. Claire took Chase by the hand. BELLE: Have a good day, you two! CHASE: Thanks. You too, Mrs. Brady. Claire and Chase walked out of the house. SALEM HIGH Claire and Chase walked into Salem High and to their lockers. Ciara and Trix were already there. Ciara ran to Claire and hugged her. CIARA: Oh my gosh! You're back! CLAIRE: Yep! CIARA: How are you? How are you feeling? CLAIRE: I'm getting better. So much better than last week! These new meds my doctor put me on are really working. CIARA: That's awesome! I'm so glad to see you! CLAIRE: I'm glad to see you, too! Ciara and Claire hugged again. Then, Trix hugged Claire. TRIX: Welcome back, mate. We missed you 'round here. CLAIRE: Thanks! It's great to be back! Mr. Woods was in his office when there was a knock on the door. WOODS: Come in. Jeff, Tripp's father, walked in. WOODS: Mr. Dalton. How can I help you? JEFF: Hey, teach. I just wanted to let you know that my boy's not gonna be making trouble for you anymore. WOODS: I'm very glad to hear that. I should hope that Tripp has done a lot of thinking over the weekend. JEFF: Oh, you bet he has. And he's gonna be doing a lot more than just thinking. He's finally gonna get himself straightened out. His mother and I are making sure of that. WOODS: Wonderful. If there's any way that I can help, please let me know. I want Tripp to succeed as much as you do. JEFF: I appreciate that. You're a good man, teach. And, as it happens, there is something you can do. WOODS: I'm all ears. JEFF: I'm gonna need you to transfer my boy's files. I'm pulling him outta this school and sending him to an all-boys school in Kansas. Joey and a bunch of other guys were getting changed into their gym uniforms in the locker room. Tripp burst through the door, threw his locker open and dumped his things into his bag. He closed the bag and stood on the nearest bench. He whistled and clapped his hands together. TRIPP: Okay, all you losers and misfits! I've got a few things to say, and you're all gonna listen!

I have to laugh at Tripp's dad calling MR. Woods "teach" all the time. I think he should have kept Tripp at home til he transferred him. LOL Though I'm sure Tripp will not get away with whatever nonsense he's planning now. I'm glad Claire is back at school! I hope the meds work as well as she expects and that Belle is worrying for nothing. Great chapter André DiMera.

I wonder how Mr. Woods will respond to the news about Tripp.

Chapter 396 SALEM HIGH WOODS: I see. Well, I am sorry it's come to this. JEFF: Not half as sorry as I am. Jeff passed Mr. Woods a piece of paper. JEFF: This is the e-mail address of the principal of that school my boy's gonna go to. WOODS: Thank you. I'll transfer the files as soon as possible. Where is Tripp now? JEFF: I sent him to clean out his locker. Come to think of it, he should be done by now. Mr. Woods nodded. WOODS: I'll call Coach Jeffries, have him see what's keeping Tripp. JEFF: Okay. Thanks again, teach. Sorry it had to end this way, but I gotta do something about my boy's behavior, and I've tried everything else I could think of. WOODS: I understand. Thank you for letting me know. I'll get to work on these straight away and call the coach now. Please take a seat outside, I'm sure Tripp will be along in a minute. Jeff nodded. He shook hands with Mr. Woods. In the locker room, Joey stood up. JOEY: Oh, come on- TRIPP: No. No, you stay and take your punishment. You guys have no idea what I've done for this team. I have put my heart and soul into making the Lions the best damn basketball team they can be! And what do I get for it? I get stabbed in the back by somebody I considered a brother! That's right. Your boy Johnson here narced on me. He went to Mr. Woods with some b.s. story that I was bothering is cousin. But you all know the truth! You've all seen her! She wants me so bad, but doesn't want to admit it! So, now you all know that Johnson, Coach's golden boy, is a liar! JOEY: If there's a liar here, it's you, Dalton. TRIPP: Shut it, Johnson. Thanks to you, the whole team's gonna suffer. Somehow, Mr. Woods and my parents believe this idiot kid. My parents are making me go to an all-boys military school now. And because of this, you guys are finished. You losers won't have a chance of making it the rest of the season without me! So, enjoy the rest of the season, you sorry *****. I hope you like losing! You'll all be sorry. Tripp turned to Joey. TRIPP: Especially you, Johnson. You and your stupid bitch cousin. I only wish I had the chance to say goodbye to her. It would be one she'd never forget. Joey pulled Tripp off of the bench. JOEY: I told you to stop talking about Ciara like that! TRIPP: So come on, then. Show me who's boss. Joey looked hard at Tripp. TRIPP: No, you won't do it. You don't have the balls to fight me. Tripp grabbed Joey by shirt. Coach Jeffries walked in. JEFFRIES: Hey! I don't know what's going on here, but it stops right now. Class started five minutes ago, so why are half of you not fully dressed? And you, Dalton, from what I hear, you're not going to this school anymore. Tripp let go of Joey. TRIPP: Just clearing my locker, Coach. JEFFRIES: Well, do it and get out of here. The rest of you have five minutes to get on the gym floor. And if any of you are late, you're all doing laps. Coach Jeffries and all of the boys in the locker room watched as Tripp grabbed his box of things and walked out of the locker room.

Uh oh. I hope this is really the end of Tripp. If he ever escapes from that boy's school I'm worried what he might do to Ciara! Great chapter André DiMera.
