RATS!!! I forgot to watch the video last night!!! So sad they had no cunselling or anyone helping to keep this marriage together or to help Brady with his addiction and his sense of failure.

See, now I can watch Brady with Chloe at the hospital and feel like it's genuine. Before I read this story, it really just wouldn't ring true to me. And, even though you have Kyle as Brady, I still see Eric, so this makes it all work for me.

CHEATIN’ HEART, 2011

Chloe ordered her 4th martini as someone familiar walked into the bar and sat down at Chloe’s table.
Chloe: Do I know you?
Woman: We met. A long time ago.
Chloe: Well, you’re going to have to refresh my memory or get out of my face. I’m busy.
Woman: I can see that. And I’m sorry for you. This isn’t the future you planned, is it?
Chloe: Excuse me ... who the hell are you and what are you talking about?
Woman: I once read your fortune, dahling.
Chloe: Ohhhh. Now I remember. I paid you money to feed me a line of bull.
Celeste: Bull? No dahling, I don’t trade in livestock.
Chloe: I rearranged my whole life because of what you told me that night.
Celeste: That’s foolish.
Chloe: No it’s not. I had to do something. You told me I was going to hurt the love of my life. So I stopped dating Philip and I married Brady instead. Then Brady divorced me. Then I married Lucas. And Lucas divorced me. Then I married Daniel. Then Daniel divorced me.
Celeste: I don’t know what you’re talking about dahling.
Chloe: You told me that I was going to hurt Philip. Philip Kiriakis, the love of my life at that time. You saw the initials P.K.
Celeste: I never said I saw the initials P.K.
Chloe: Okay, if you weren’t feeding me a line of crap then, you certainly are now.
Celeste: I told you I saw the letters PK, not the initials.
Chloe: What’s the difference?
Celeste: There’s a big difference. I wasn’t talking about you hurting Philip, dahling. I was talking about you hurting someone else who has the letters P and K in their name.
Chloe: I don’t understand.
Celeste: P and K, as in Parker. Your son.
Chloe’s face falls and she suddenly feels very sober.
Chloe: Parker? But he wasn’t even born. He wasn’t even in my life.
Celeste: Dahling, the moral of this story is that you can’t change your future. It’s preordained.
Chloe: So the love of my life you were talking about is … my son?
Celeste: That’s right dahling.
Chloe: Why didn’t you tell me? Why did you let me think you were talking about my boyfriend?
Celeste: That’s what you get for 20 dollars.
