Brady and Chloe are excited about the future. Will they get the news they’re hoping for?

So looking forward to more jkjpatch! Great start to teh story before. To go with previous comments made, I enjoyed Kyle's Brady's romance with Chloe. I like them together a lot. But when Eric arrived in the role, he owned it. Like SG said: "Kyle who?"

SUNDAY NIGHT, BRADY & CHLOE’S VIENNA CONDO
Chloe has just arrived home from work. She’s excited to see Brady and gives him a big kiss.
Chloe: Brady, oh good, you’re still awake.
Brady: Can I make you a nightcap?
Chloe: Sure, if you’re having one.
Brady fixes them both a drink and hands Chloe a glass.
Brady: You look excited.
Chloe: I’m more than excited. I’m ecstatic.
Brady: Wow, tell me.
Chloe: I got you an audition.
Brady: An audition? Me? Huh?
Chloe: Yesterday, they posted a casting call for a baritone. I didn’t give it much thought until you sang to me this afternoon, and then I thought you would be perfect for it. It’s a small part but ...
Brady: I don’t know, Chloe.
Chloe: Brady, this is your dream.
Brady: No, this is your dream. It’s my fantasy. And that’s where it’s going to stay.
Chloe: Brady, you have a beautiful voice. We always talked about how cool it would be for the two of us to sing together professionally. This could be the start, Brady.
Brady: I’m a businessman honey, not a singer.
Chloe: You can be both! Come on Brady, this is such a great opportunity. I feel like it was meant to be.
Brady: Just for argument’s sake, when is this audition?
Chloe: They’re holding auditions tomorrow from 10:00 to noon.
Brady: Well that settles it. I have a meeting. I can’t go.
Chloe: Cancel it. This is your big shot. Take it. Please. For me.
Brady: Chloe, you know I’d do anything for you, but ...
Chloe: Thank you!
Chloe throws her arms around Brady and kisses him. The kiss turns serious and she starts pulling at his t-shirt and beckoning him to lose it. He lifts his shirt up over his head and tosses it aside before undressing Chloe. They fall onto the sofa kissing feverishly, both of them just a little drunk with both liquor and excitement.

Oh no I can see Chloe pushing Brady into doing something that he does not really want to do. He is doing it for her to make her dream come true. It will really be a downer for him if he does not get the singing gig. He is already down because of the business. Can't wait to see what happens at the audition Thanks for the chapter Kpatch.

If it's truly something he doesn't want to do, she should listen to him and let it go. But if he's shy, or just nervous about auditioning, she should definitely push him. But it looks like she's trying to force a relationship that just doesn't exist.  |
