Yes I really like Lucas and Adrienne these two are a good fit for each other. I liked Justin's  character I just don't like the combination of Justin with Adrienne

Looking to the evidence he stole I think he's was made even just is recent months a much greyer character as far as right and wrong go just to fit him into the entire Deimos story line so that I didn't like...
Adrienne and Lucas somehow bring out the best in each other but beyond that Adrienne at time (from paternal stand point how the power to bring out the best in Will) the same could be said about Sonny ( there were situations where Lucas brought out the best in him). During that time Justin was a lawyer who went to by the book and didn't recognize the cover up sonny was doing as something greater going on .. Sonny protecting Will for good reason.

I am a fan of both characters. I like them together but they are on so infrequently that I almost forget they are still a couple.

I know there not Contract characters but at the end of the day that's not the issue, not when you look at who get to much air time, characters like Hope, Ciara, Rafe... (Jen(depending upon the story line, even if it not great storyline) Aidan and Deminos even Andre (story line dependent). That a small number of the over all cast.

glad to finally find a forum to talk about this couple, its rare to come by. I hope they get more airtime together once days is back after the Olympics. I've been over Justin since he treated Adrienne so badly and glad she found a good many like Lucas to treat her right. They have a mature and honest relationship and bring out the best in each other.

gemini298979 I like the support and understanding that Adrienne got from Sonny about her engagement. He's an adult who understood, even accepted that to much damage was done to his parents relationship for them to work it out. I liked the explanation that Adrienne gave regarding the issues at the end of the day with her and just, she never said it directly but phrased it in a way so Sonny understood the Lucas was different because of trust...not because Adrienne never loved Justin. Clearly a point came where Adrienne had doubts about Justin's behavior and it sounds like those might have been their before Justin's affair in dubi.

I'm not sure Sonny is that happy about Adrienne's engagement but he does want her to be happy.

fluffysmom Mind you I could be wrong but i got the sense watching that the unhappiness wasn't about the engagement but it was the explanation behind the choice Adrienne made. I sensed with out dissing Justin directly Adrienne did so indirectly to their son, but I think Sonny picked up on the implications. She talked about things being different with Lucas (and well I think the difference was suppose to be about trust) the think the way Adrienne said it the implication Sonny got was that (Sonny got the impression that Adrienne , in a round about way now claims to have never loved Justin) however I think it was bad wording by Adrienne... and I took what Sonny understanding of her statement was based upon his question while I think Adrienne's indication related to trust.

I don't think she was either, but I sensed more based on Sonny's question that the way or indication her explanation might have given sonny. I think Adrienne was talking strictly about trust but listening again to the conversation I think writer had Adrienne word it for Sonny to question that she was talking about something other then trust. I think Adrienne thinks the trust with Justin is gone, however the way she indicated that I think was intentionally suppose to be misleading (to understand Sonny's point of view with out making Sonny seems like someone who doesn't want his mother to be happy). Because Sonny asked "Did you ever?" during that conversation and I think it was vague enough to support the question.  What Adrienne said was vague, what she meant I think was more specific, (knowing what Justin did in Dubi, I think Adrienne was talking strictly about Trust) but the vagueness of the way she worded what she said to Sonny I think allowed for Sonny to question his mother about if she was basically talking about (loving Justin) but it was all termed vaguely enough i think Sonny to take one meaning, and Adrienne to mean a completely different one.

Adrienne is at a different place in her life than when she first fell in love with Justin. She wants different things at this stage of her life.

@fluffysmom that much is true, yes she does but it way I like the vagueness of the conversation it allowed views to see both and understand both mother and Son's point of view. The vagueness allowed for Sonny's point of you and possible misinterpretation of the situation between Adrienne and Justin. Sure I think trust is an issue, but we saw Sonny questioning when Will was even still alive if Adrienne made any real effort to work past her and Justin's issues. She wanted something different through and I think that what had Adrienne end the marriage so fast will Sonny put a lot of effort in to trying to save his dispute the time in Paris. But I like that the way that the conversation went allowed for a compromise of the two different views Sonny just wanting Adrienne to be happy even if he couldn't understand what had changed so much... and Adrienne's willingness vague through it was to give sonny some kind of explanation. I also think the vagueness of the explanation was so that Sonny wouldn't have to choose sides between his parents who want very different things (and probably do have a relationship that irreparable as a result) but I think Adrienne wants Sonny to be allowed to have a good relationship with all involved so he doesn't feel like he needs to choose sides. Vague through it was is was about what's changed in her since maybe even before Justin's Dubi affair. Vague through it was I think Adrienne was working to not make anyone the bad guy it what she felt might be a difficult choice for Sonny to understand that she made.

I didn't really care for the way Adrienne and Justin were talking to him like he was some kid whose parents just got divorced. I understand that no matter what age a kid still wants their parents together but Adrienne shouldn't have to keep making it clear to sonny that she and Justin aren't getting back together. I've never liked that sonny doesn't really respect her relationship with Lucas and showed it once again when he asked if they were still a "thing" like it was still some fling. I think when Adrienne was trying to explain to sonny what she has with Lucas that she was trying to put it in a way so he wont have to take sides between her and his father. Adrienne is being very generous because in reality sonny should be on Adrienne's side for not only Justin cheating on Adrienne but the horrible way he treated her after. Never understood why sonny was never shown to be more angry with him for cheating. hopefully now that Adrienne and Lucas are engaged sonny can finally except the relationship and act like an adult.
