The lighting in scenes these last few weeks has been much brighter. Could this mean an end to the abysmal stories?

I sure hope so. I noticed that some scenes were lit much better, while others remain pretty dark. The Dimera mansion scenes still seem pretty dark. I hope our voices have been heard.

I mentioned in another thread how bright Club TBD is now. I don't think better lighting means happier storylines, though.

I think UhSir is referring to the fact that the lighting got really dark when the stories got really dark starting with Ben's killing spree, so it seemed like there was some correlation.

I think Melissa Reeves mentioned not liking the lighting too in an interview she did a while back. As I recall she said she realized they were trying to be edgier but the lighting wasn't doing her any favors appearance wise or something like that. I also hope that this is the end of the dark sets AND especially the dark storylines.
