Unfortunately for Dads they don't seem to get the fanfare that Moms often receive.

I'm mad I have to work  my parents are going out to lunch with my sister and her family. On Friday the kids were coloring pictures and telling everyone not to look because it's a surprise for Father's Day. |

Only have memories now. I remember my father had a load of firewood delivered for our fireplace when I was about 8. The whole family spent a Sunday stacking it. The next day my father came home with presents for everyone. That small moment is one of my favorites.

My husband signed up to work overtime without realizing it was Father's Day. So we're just making cards and making him a good supper and dessert.
