Hello all, I was wondering if this is the right thread to post this or it goes somewhere else.. lol but I recently got the vegas pro and have no idea on how to start a music video or anything, anyone a pro at this? can lend me a hand or two  |

myst85, I use Movie Maker for my videos. I don't have Vegas Pro. It's way too scary for me. I tried it about 5 years ago but gave up trying to figure out how to do what I could in Movie Maker. I'd like to help you. What version of Vegas Pro are you working with?

hehe.. doesn't get me a long time to get all frustrated over something  I add the clips.. of what I want.... then trim and cut the scenes, but having troubles putting together a video.. with a decent song  |

So you're okay working in Vegas but you're trying to figure out how to make a video in general? I'm just trying to understand what you need help with. Starting work on a video is the most overwhelming part for me too.

yep it is.. when you don't know the program at all.. i'll figure it out. just hope its not that different from movie maker.. |

It's a lot different. Movie Maker is a single, linear video track and one each additional audio and title track. Vegas has multiple, non-linear video tracks. It has on-the-fly adjustment to the effects. There are a lot more things you can do to the video.

okaaay. my preview video went black on me.. I can hear the audio good.. but cant see them.. anyone can help me out?

My first suspect is possibly it's your computer? Either your CPU, RAM or graphics card. Does your computer match the program minimum specs?
