I'm guessing Abby will need reconstructive surgery, and when the mask comes off, it will be a different actress playing Abby, and that's the whole reason for the fire.

Makes me wonder is Abby is the one who set the fire. I wondered that, too. Or maybe Chase? He's been moaning about what a bad person he is forever. His told Aiden he didn't want his help. And even though Chase wanted to stay in prison, Aiden went against his wishes and is moving him to Shady Hill. Hmm... |

That burn mask (or whatever it's called) looks funny. I guess her nose was the only part of her face that wasn't burned, but she'll still have a new nose to go with the rest of her new face later on. Even her brown eyes will turn blue.  |

I read an interview with Kate Mansi in SOD. She said she was a bit disappointed about the mask because she felt it was more about changing actresses than what makes sense for the story

I like Kate Mansi. She didn't have good storylines to work with most of the time.
