I'm a little dissapointed, I was expecting more. I really miss Jay and I hope he lands something permanent real soon.

He's still adorable.
They gave him a great character to play. A male nanny womanizer. LOL when he said that his last boss kept him on for 6 months after the kid went off to college and how he has references from lots of satisfied customers.
I also liked it when he very pointedly asked "Who's the Boss" because of the obvious comparisons between this show and Who's the Boss.
He wasn't onscreen for long, but it was actually more than I expected. I am among those who are "satisfied" with this appearance.
Where are jaysfan and thecorrecttime? Wondering what you all thought.

I was a little disappointed that he wasn't on much, but thoought that he did as good job... it was a big departure from Philip... and he had a good sense of comic timing...

I expected his appearance to be much shorter. Since he's just a guest star and not one of the core players in the sitcom, I figured he'd be on and off in a flash. At least he had some real lines and interplay with one of the stars. The camera focused on him a few times. His character wasn't a buffoon like a lot of sitcom guests are, and they acknowledged his dimples! But I agree, it definitely brought up those old I Miss Philip feelings of grief and loss. He's too good not to be a star.

Yeah I didn't expect him being on a super long time either since he was guest starring and it's only a half hour show. I agree I thought his comedic timing was great. I felt like that when he was on scrubs too.

I really enjoyed Jay's appearance. Like Jaysfan, I think Jay possesses instinctive comic timing - I'd love to see him perform more comedy. (BTW - I think this marked Jay's first TV performance before a live studio audience.)
That being said, I would have liked to have seen Jay on screen a bit longer . . . But as Jkjpatch says, he was on a good length of time for a guest performer.
