According to IMDB, Jay Johnson (formerly Philip Kiriakis ... dang, I hate saying formerly) is scheduled to appear on Melissa and Joey this Wednesday, August 24th. I've seen the coming attractions for the episode and it certainly didn't show Jay. Can anyone confirm this? In any case, my VCR is set to record this at 8:00 Eastern Time on The Family Channel. www.imdb.com/title/tt1907184/ |

Just wanted to mention something re Jay's Melissa and Joey appearance . . . Jay taped the season finale - 30th out of 30 episodes for season one. I recall Joey Lawrence and Melissa Joan Hart tweeting there being special things to look forward to in that finale - typical of most season finales, which entice viewers back to the next season opening with a big cliff hanger ending. Jay's episode was titled 'The Settlement' . . .
A few weeks back, an IMDb listing posted a title change ('All Politics is Local') and a broadcast date: August 24. Though episode title changes are common, the broadcast date is a bit puzzling. According to various other online TV sites, "All Politics is Local" is the 24th episode - of 30 - to be aired this season.
I messaged ABC Family twice via the show's official feedback screen, asking for confirmation re when Jay's appearance would air - I have yet to receive a reply.
I'll still be watching Wednesday, just in case Jay makes a guest appearance. Who knows, he could be on. But if he isn't, his appearance will most likely air mid September.

By the way - - in checking this show out online, I learned that each Melissa and Joey episode is rebroadcast once or twice within a week of the original broadcast. If someone should miss Jay's appearance, there might be additional opportunities to catch it. (I think each episode is eventually downloaded on the show's official site.)

Before the new episodes for the week air the previous weeks episodes are on just before the new episodes air on the same night as the new episodes. Also someone on youtube uploads each episode in a few different parts and I believe if I remember correctly that you can watch the episodes for this season on the abcfamily website.

Thank you soooo much I googled it to find out and he did land a role on there I think he'll be playing Ryder (never saw the show) but I have it on reminder can't wait to see his face again!!! Hope it's long term!
